Easy! Take info from Fitbit.com for 1-2 months, find out what average daily burn is. Set up MFP custom to reflect that number with a deficit. So my average burn in fitbit for the last 2 years is 2400ish. To lose a pound, provided i believe in simple math for weight loss, i'd eat 1900/day. ;D

Im neither self rites or assumptive, and i'm learning plenty! This post was a test to see how many people lose their **** at the word "Moderation". mod·er·a·tion ˌmädəˈrāSHən/Submit noun 1. the avoidance of excess or extremes, esp. in one's behavior or political opinions. "he urged the police to show moderation"…

Interesting views on this topic BTW.

Once the marathon is over try the following: Eat at maintenance. On lift days simply add 200 calories of high quality protein and carbs. On rest days eat maint. After 2 weeks measure and weigh and see if you've gained a little and test body fat%. If happy with results, continue till you stop gaining but please be…

BCAAs. works for me! ;) Or just eat right and have plenty of green veggies and fruit with some protein and BOOM! Satiety and happiness! This is pretty disordered thinking asking us for a way to NOT be hungry since you are probably not eating enough and training too hard. Thats normally the case with these types of…

You could be happy with your body as is and BOOM! Stress free baby! then natural fat loss happens because stress hormones are down and nutrition is right....nutrition is right....right?

I have a few questions. I do have a couple clients with PCOS but each is different BTW. Also a wife with extreme endometriosis. ;) How is your sleep cycles? How is your stress management? How is your libido? Do you lift weights or mostly cardio? What type of diet are you following and how much are you eating per day?

I never said to eat yourself into oblivion. I said to enjoy your food in moderation. What you are describing is someone with emotional issues with food. If you have an addiction, get help! I'm sure someone who binge eats probably isn't very happy. This post is about controlling yourself with the food you enjoy! Its about…

I'm coming at this for longevity reasons. If you generally have a stress free lifestyle where you sleep well, eat the food you enjoy, move like a human being, and are generally in good spirits, you'll live longer! Eat the food you enjoy in moderation **** in moderation Workout in moderation Drink in moderation (if you…

Why offer that info at all? It's like this fantastic question: "How do you know someone is vegan? Because they'll tell you!" Eat whatever you want however you like so long as it's healthy. Period. Mentioning that you eat low carb and high fat was simply you trying to strike up the conversation. On to more important…

Can't find any info on Joanne Moniz except her affiliation with Mark Sisson.

Very cult like views. My post isn't about gluttony. Its about moderation. Drinking A coke is far different from drinking 2 liters of coke.

Lol you could go back and tell yourself that it gave you wepons grade flatulence! Look. I know I've sparked some good debates on the subject and appreciate the feedback. I know we have addictions and mental illness and a slew of other issues. What I see here on a daily basis is people obsessing o er e very calorie passing…

Idiocy, fear mongering, misinformed, dogmatic. If you believe sugar is the issue, explain the Australian Paradox.

So if I've just finished lifting weights and I slug my protein, what harm would a Twinkie have? Physiologically what happens to the Twinkie? Please explain. Or instead see me as my former fat self and I've just finished lifting weights and I eat a Twinkie, what happens physiologically when I metabolize the Twinkie? Most…

This is my point. Accountability!

I had those last night! Love them in full fat milk! ;D People obsess over calorie counting and demonizing food. Relax and enjoy life! If eating oreos makes you upset then don't eat them. ;D

Don't push something you don't truly understand. Low carb high fat. Ketogenic. Atkins. Blabbity blabbity blah.... You can get the same result eating high carb 60% low fat 10% as long as she gets essential fats in for hormonal homeostasis. Doesn't matter in the real world what you eat so long as you find what makes you…

Already offered the best way to do it. Nothing to figure out so now its application and acceptance. Resistance training + Nutrition + Sleep = Fat loss. Get off the mouse wheel. I'll give an example of someone from MFP: Jfrankic http://www.myfitnesspal.com/user/jfrankic/status Started at 280lbs 2 years ago. With zero cardio…
