  • Not a hack, but I strongly support the idea that no food is the enemy (apart from Marmite which definitely is) and a sensible amount of what you like but think you need to avoid is fine, factored in to your daily calorie allowance. Life is way too short to avoid chocolate (my personal opinion!).
  • Thanks, that's useful to know. Did you see someone or do it yourself? I tried Superfeet which were not super at all and made it a lot worse. The thing that worked was buying an expensive pair of Adidas trainers that I couldn't particularly afford but they appear to have solved my PF and achilles tendonitis. No more pain is…
  • That's sensible. Now add the veg! And honestly, listen to the people here who are trying to offer their guidance. They've done what you're trying to do, if you follow their advice you'll get where you want to be and they'll help you avoid the pitfalls along the way. For what it's worth, there's no science to support 'clean…
  • Worth recording them as it's still a calorie intake and a whole load of important nutrients. Shame you closed your diary in response to my question, it wasn't necessary and now means no one can give you pointers.
  • Just wondering as there's no fruit or veg recorded in your diary for at least the last week, do you not bother to record, or do you not eat them? Not getting at you, just interested how this works if you're 'eating clean', as generally I've seen fruit & veg make up a major part of a 'clean' diet?
  • Good for you - seriously, cos I understand how easy it is to be convinced by good marketing when you really want something. Commit to two months of logging food here, you can keep an eye on your macros if you want, and if you stick to it you should see a change. Is also worth adding friends and keep your diary open (if not…
  • Also wanted to add to all the good advice you've been given, that if you've started exercising as well as changing your eating habits, you've probably started engaging your core (stomach muscles) more than you've done before, and this may make a difference to your waist measurement. I looked 6 months pregnant back in…
  • I've had a look at the website and it's flash and all, but for all that they talk about science and use 'sciency' words, I see no science, either on the site or linked, to support what they're saying, and I couldn't see any credentials which suggest either of them have a nutrition/medical background and are qualified to…
  • Kale, mainly for guinea-pigs but they let me have a bit when I'm good/bad depending on where you stand on kale Salmon Curly Wurlys - 1 a day meets my sweet tooth requirement
  • 1. Never said acceptance = loving something. You go on and on ad infinitum about it. That's not acceptance. 2. It IS a gender issue when you refer to women who would date larger men as 'desperate' and 'settling'. You've said similar in other threads. 3. I never suggested that you said it was wrong for women - or anyone -…
  • It doesn't sound at all as though you've accepted it, as evidenced by this increasingly ridiculous thread and other posts you've made elsewhere. You asked for responses, you directed the thread onto this subject and you've had nearly 100 replies trying to support and offer guidance, to the point of people getting fed up.…
