I can’t do the twice a day, I’m a math teacher and barely have time to exercise but I do follow my diet religiously. If I have the time I will get a second workout with my resistance band at home but not all the time.

I agree, you don’t look skinny fat. Here is a program from a website whose workouts I follow. https://www.t-nation.com/workouts/the-ultimate-program-for-body-comp-improvement

I take 60 seconds between sets and 90-120 seconds between exercises

Instead of pancakes I will try to make waffles and will let you know how that goes! I bought the protein powder cookbook and there are some good recipes there. Thanks for the support!

Thank you all for your recommendations, I appreciate the help and will put it to practice. I like to see that a lot of you agree on most things so that makes me feel like it will work. I will do my best.

Thanks! I haven’t tried that formula, I will do the math and see how it changes compared to what I am doing now.

Thanks for your detailed response! 25% carbs!? Did that affect your mood? The lowest I’ve done is 35% carbs and it was hard! I will try going down gradually from 45% to 30% and will let you know. If I am not crazy by then I will go to 25% I’m trying to get abs to do a photoshoot, I’ve never done one and would like to

Thanks! I was doing a bit over 1g protein per lb but will try 1g/lb I struggle with cardio but will have to come up with a good plan Thanks for the advice

All I did was share what I did and how it worked for me. But it seems people here took differently. I guess I’m better off looking for a different forum.

To each their own. I bought a scale when I started. I eliminated foods I liked because I did not want to “spend” calories on those foods. My workouts increased to 60 mins 6x a week

This is a calorie counting app.

For whatever reason sea salt helped me keep my blood pressure lower (normal, there is history of heart related problems in my family). I understand the differences are minimal but I will go with what keeps my heart healthy. I am not trying to lose weight anymore. I am 5’10” and walk around a lean 182lbs. My goals are to…

I was retaining a lot of water and the changes I made helped me because I was “too” fat. I was 191 lbs and went down to 176lbs. Needless to say I counted calories and macros (40/40/20 to start)

Table salt. When table salt is refined it loses some minerals.

I couldn’t agree more with what you say, especially drinking your calories and using a scale. As of now I’m splitting my calories in 7 meals and it has given me good results.

Tell me about it! I am 5'10", weight 183lbs and I have been on 2,550cals a day an it was hard hahaha. I am currently eating 3,210 cals a day with no cardio at all. I guess if you love cardio that much and have the time just make sure is not high intensity cardio.

I say stop all cardio, you can be lean and add weight slowly without cardio. You want to save calories so that they turn in to the lean weight you are trying to gain. http://iifym.com/iifym-calculator/ check this out to calculate your calories, that is what I use. I don't count the calories I burn when I exercise.

I measure everything every two weeks along with progress pics and step on the scale once a week.

I try to be as active as possible, feel free to add me :)
