Eat. You don't look overweight enough to have a calorie deficit. Just add a workout routine if you need to tone up. But don't eat less than 1200 calories + however much you burn while working out.

Ab tightening, all day long. Just sitting at work, suck it in and squeeze your abs like a slight crunch.
-
Your body doesn't let go of anything you eat if it's been starving for a while. At 5'7 and 140, and working out, you're probably not supposed to be limiting to 1200.
-
Quite a difference, good job.
-
You're doing great, keep it up!
-
Dairy Free ice cream? What is it made of?
-
It's not the Turkey. It's probably the fact that you are somewhat full and probably bored.

My wife has high blood pressure. Sodium affects it negatively.
-
If you're going to have children, don't go much lower than that.
-
Keep yourself busy. Being idle makes me want to eat.

There's pretty much no reason for you to get married. At this point, marriage is for taxes and medical benefits. If you think it will keep the two of you committed to just each other, you are quite possibly wrong.
-
Going by MFP's calculations, 1200 is what you should eat if you don't exercise. They've already accounted for the 500 deficit.

I lived on McDonalds, Pizza Hut, and Baskin Robins for 2 years. Granted, I mixed it up with some KFC at times. But that was pretty much it. I actually miss those days. I love those foods. So tastey. But I don't work out nearly enough to do that anymore.
-
I tend to go 3 days a week for about an hour at a time.

This is the way it's supposed to be. But it often changes up some. Monday - Weights (chest and back [pulling things straight back] using barbell mostly) Tuesday - Cardio (running/walking and/or workout video) Wednesday - Weights (arms, shoulders, and back[pulling things down]) Thursday - Cardio again Friday - Weights…

I just realized, yesterday, that I wasn't "lucky" when I was younger. I was the same way. Ate as much as I wanted and people would say I'm so lucky because I don't gain wait. "Just wait till you get older" they would say. Now I laugh. I wasn't lucky. I just worked my *kitten* off doing things I enjoyed. Basketball,…

A lot of people were brought up this way. It's so very wrong. Most of the people teaching their kids this don't even know proper portion sizes.

I recommend weight lifting for toning up. You won't get bulky. It's extremely hard and takes hours at the gym for women to become body builders.
-
That last sentence can save some heartache.
-
Get rid of the scale. It's relatively useless. Use this site to keep track of food and working out. You won't need a scale to tell you if you've done something wrong.
-
This is the best way. Your ultimate goal is looks, not weight. Unless of course you're trying to reach a certain fighting weight. Or like me, you have a seperate challenge that is based on your weight.
-
Are you sure you actually need to lose weight? Make sure you don't need to just tone up. If you are at the mid to low end of a healthy BMI, it's going to be hard to lose more weight.
-
I eat bad food on a daily basis. I just try not to eat too much of it. If I have McDonalds in the morning, I try my best not to have any cupcakes.
-
I would recommend seeing a doctor.
-
My tip is to worry less about weight. Use measurements, no more than once every 2 weeks. A whole lot of people focus on the scale and it drives them crazy. Your weight will fluctuate hourly/daily. So try not to worry about it.
-
Soda mostly. Pizza once in a while.
-
How have your measurements changed?
-
I would have to guess you're telling other sites you daily routine + workout and then it's calculating how many calories you should have. On MFP, you're telling the site your daily routine (without a work out) and it's calculating how many calories you should have. That's why everyone has the whole eating back calories…

When you say the other sites calculate based on "fitness level", does that meanyou're telling them how much you work out? Or your basic level of activity without working out?
