Thanks for all the replies. I noticed people have clearer skin when they drink more water. Not really sure if it's because of drinking less soda though. I also didn't realize soda stains your teeth. My original plan was to quit for February. Then I extended it through Lent. Now, maybe I can keep it out of my life. We shall…

I like the end of this one.

Not something you should quote. Some people like to be physically abused. They thrive on pain. Does this mean they should hit others?

I find the more often I help someone, the more they take advantage.

Why do I not see any Starcraft 2? Well, that's my game of choice for now.

2 McDonald's Grilled Chicken Snack Wraps with BBQ sauce. It's going to be delicious.

I have to disagree. I eat what I want and I've been losing weight. Loves to eat me some pizza and cheeseburgers. Gotta run 7 miles to do it though.

I believe the article is right, in a way. If you don't control what you eat, exercise won't help. If I burn 500 calories a day, and eat 4000, I won't lose weight. It's kind of a pointless article. Bunch a fluff that didn't really need to be written about. The gist is, if you want to lose weight, watch what you eat. If you…

That's freakin' hilarious!

You saw that too, huh? Aren't people supposed to cite their sources of false information?

I tend to just use aerobics or calisthenics

I think I made listed mine at 300 or so.

Meat. And lots of it.

You don't have to be a big fan of water. I hate it. That's why I make sure there's plenty of water in my soda and food. http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=eight-glasses-water-per-day

That's great!

have you tried counting inches instead of weight?
-
Do you have a job where you walk around all day? I'm kind of curious how this would affect me. I'm sedentary mostly.
-
Just curious, have you tried the dress on lately?
-
I think I'd be starving if that's all I ate.
-
Do what you've been doing. If you're losing, you're on the right track. If you happen to plateau, change it up. Why fix something if it isn't broken.

Don't overdo it. You do have to gain some weight. If you don't, there are many risks to the fetus.

I find the Yoga DVD I do puts me to sleep by the end. Often take a short nap on the floor.

I think it all depends on how much time you have. I don't eat healthy, though I do watch how much I eat. I still eat a lot at times, but I work my *kitten* off in the gym to get rid of it. When I was younger and going to the gym twice a day, I also would eat half a pizza or more for dinner. Then eat a pint of ice cream at…

Dieting tends to mean you'll go back to the way you were after the diet. For long term results, I recommend you try to see this more as a lifestyle change.

The reason "most" sites say it is good, is because that's their idea. Those that don't think it is good, tend not to bother with the topic in the first place. You should consult a doctor about starvation as an option, not websites.

Sports are ideal. If your gym has volleyball, basketball, or raquetball, I'd try those. It's a lot easier to work out when you're having fun.

A lot of them probably gain the weight back. That's usually what happens when you don't do it the right way.
