That is amazing! Good job! I'm a mom of 3...a set of 5 yr old twins and my youngest is 4 months. I was 180 when I had him in February. After the "automatic" weight loss stopped I was sitting at 161. I'm now down 10 lbs at 151 after getting back on MFP. My goal is 125 (I'm a shorty) but I'd be happy at 130. Ok, now I'm…

Greek yogurt with fresh fruit and granola. We have a yogurt bar at work...HEAVEN! And coffee of course :)

Our best way to handle scheduling has been joining the YMCA. With their childcare and kids programs it allows us to workout whenever we want and the kids LOVE the activities and hanging out there. If not for the Y I'm not sure how we'd get free time to work out!

The only thing I noticed weight gain with was the Depo shot. Everyone I know who's ever used it gained tons of weight. I stopped it after I noticed the pounds coming on.

I ALWAYS eat back my calories from exercising. It's the only way I can maintain dieting. It's my motivation to exercise because I get to eat more, lol. Eating those calories will not sabotage your diet as long as you have logged EVERYTHING and your calories burned is pretty accurate. It's about Net calories at the end of…

I started the pill after having my baby 3.5 months ago. I hate taking them, lol (just hate having to remember). My husband is due to have his vasectomy June 5th so I'll be on them a few more months. I've been dieting and exercising since I started them and I've been steadily losing weight. As long as I don't cheat it's…

We have a YMCA membership and my 5 yr old twins LOVE child care there. They often beg to go. I do feel guilty about taking the 3 month old. He is already in day care so that just adds on more time he's in someoneelses care :(. Then I remind myself that it's usually during his nap time anyway, lol, and I'm getting healthier…

Working mom to 5 yr old twins and a 3 month old. 30 lbs to lose. Feel free to add me!

Our stats are almost identical! I'm 5'2", started at 162 (well that's the weight I plateaued at after having my baby in February). CW is 155.4 and I'm looking to lose 30 lbs. I'm the mother of 3, a set of 5 yo twins and a 11wk old.

Congrats on your first 5k!! I hope to get back to running soon. I tried at 9 wks postpartum and was still feeling a little pelvic pain. Yep, sounds like hubby needs to step up a little more. Could he either get the baby to day care or pick up? My hubby takes our 3 kids to day care (two different centers) and I pick them…

In regards to couch to 5k...go for it!! It's how I started running. At first you will feel like you aren't getting anywhere. But stick with the slow gradual program and I promise you in a few short weeks you will be running longer and further than you would have ever thought you could.

Cardio and more cardio, lol. But seriously, when I started to focus on high-intensity interval training and wasn't focusing on my mid-section was when I saw the best results. Full body workouts worked better than doing a bunch of sit-ups and crunches....for me at least. Things like burpees and planks.

3rd baby is 10 weeks old. My twins are 5. Weight is more stubborn to get off after this second pregnancy!

Short mama of 3 here too. I just had my 3rd and took total advantage of this last pregnancy and ate like crazy and didn't workout a single day. What slapped me in the face was when it was time to return to work I couldn't fit into any of my clothes! Now that we have 3 kids and an extremely tight budget, I don't have the…

My belly was stretched to the max with my twins. Even when I got down pretty slim I had the excess skin. From what I've been told only surgery can completely get rid of it. :( Luckily high-waist pants are back in style, lol.

Absolutely agree! The instructors are what make Zumba great or terrible and I've been to both extremes! A great one will make it feel like a party, you're burning tons of calories and don't feel so much like you're working out. A bad class is like low impact aerobics and you're bored to pieces...or at least I am.
