Absolutely! He's even lost some weight because even though he's not actually logging his calories!

My cholestrol was over 300 and I just didn't feel good about myself. The cholestorol is now way down and I feel so much better in my clothes and just overall!
-
Eat my favorite foods - but in moderation. Taking walks. Having a good time with family!
-
My homemade cheeseball and my fudge - not making either one!
-
My hubby's lasagna. My German Chocolate Cake. Mac and Cheese.
-
I'm going to have a spoonful of my favorite things - no bread cause I don't have to have that and 1 piece of cake!
-
150 - I'm just 3 1/2 pounds away!
-
My homemade cheeseball and German Chocolate Cake!

Thombstone and The Notebook

Favorite - walking or riding my bike. Least favorite - everything else!
-
Ziti with meat sauce and mozzerella cheese - saved my calories for 2 cups! But not enough cals for a glass of wine - boo!
-
Snakes - can't even look at them on tv or in a magazine. If I ever saw one for real, I'd probably die of heart attack. My husband knows if he wants to collect on my life insurance, all he has to do is put a fake one in the bed!

I gag just thinking about it! My hubby loves it.

If I try to hold up my 3 middle fingers on my right hand, the index finger will not go straight!

I would think whatever works for an individual is worth taking a look at, i.e. Weight Watchers, MFP, etc. I love this website.

He never closes a cabinet door! Drives me crazy!

I think it's funny that some people say they can't deny themselves certain foods. I think this program allows you have chips, ice cream, a beer or glass wine - as long as it's done in moderation and you include it in your daily total. That being said, I'm NOT saying you can't ever go over your calories once in a while -…

Mine is not food, but exercise! I love walking or riding bikes but when it's cold, I use that as an excuse not to do it!

Could be the withdrawal from sodas. I too have to eat a little something every 3 - 4 hours or my blood sugar will drop. I'll get shaky and even sweaty. If it gets too bad, I'll have to drink 8 oz of orange juice. Hope you feel better soon.
-
I eat whatever I want - just make sure I have a smaller portion and that I have the caloires left to use. I did, however, give up flavored coffee creamer - just not willing to use those calories.
-
You look great! Congrats on all your hard work. I love reading these success stories!

I think we all need to relax and enjoy the day but not use it as an excuse to pig out. I can handle the turkey, gravy, stuffing, etc. It's the German Chocolate Cake that will get me. I plan to have some though and just keep the portions reasonable.

I do 1300 calories/day. That seems to be easily manageable for me. I try to walk or ride my bike every day but if you think you've pulled something, you need to let it heal.
-
I had to give it up cold turkey - now drink it black! Good luck!
-
As my husband always says "You just can't fix stupid"! I had my child naturally but I've known women who had to have C-sections and always thought that would be a LOT harder.
-
The only thing I TOTALLY gave up was flavored creamers in my coffee.
-
Amazing! I love these sucess stories - keeps me motivated!

You look great! Besides the calorie counting, what exercise did you do? I'll never be a size 8 but would love to lose another 5 pounds!

I fixed a bag of those myself last night - brocilli, carrots, cauliflower - only had 2 small pieces of brocilli in it and the rest was carrots and cauliflower - I wanted brocilli!
