I also take melatonin. I only get weird dreams sometimes. It has had zero effect on my weight.

He asked about approaching her in a potentially non-platonic way. You're being argumentative for....why??? We all have already agreed that you're perfectly welcome to your warm and open demeanor towards perfect strangers approaching you in the gym. The general consensus from the women here (and some men) is that it's not…

And honestly, I don't need anyone to feel "sad" because I prefer to be in control of my time and space. If it's so off-putting, be friendly elsewhere, there's obviously people that exist that don't mind.
-
We're not talking about that though, are we? We're talking about the OP's desire to ask a girl out.
-
Well then if you prefer people feel entitled to your time and attention at any given moment of their choosing with complete disregard for your space and level of comfort on the off-chance that they're being genuinely friendly to you, then carry on. That's your prerogative, not anyone else's.
-
It's also always assumed that it's always friendly, or only once in a great while.

Sorry you got turned down that one time.

I've deleted people who were overtly rude, or judgmental. I've also deleted people who were using the feed as an alternative Facebook to air their personal dramas 24/7. I've also deleted people for promoting bunk diets and cleanses. And creepers. I delete creepers if they somehow dodged my radar when I agreed to add them.…

This one currently of me getting all dolled up for a wedding this weekend. I love that dress so much! :)

Cute. :)

<3 Listen to this guy.

This is actually kind of cute, and I *might* get a chuckle out of it, personally. However, don't get all incensed if she doesn't return the interest, no one owes anyone their attention.

Nope. I agree with this. I go to the gym and I go to work. I'm usually on a time budget, and I want to focus. Its one place I want to go to do me and not have someone trying to get at me.

Literally the definition of a fad diet.

Hot dogs=protein and carbs.

No, no. I love my quest bars. I'm just awestruck by the food alchemy I just read about.
-
The answer is don't. I had some guy try to ask me out while I was squatting and I couldn't have been more annoyed and turned off. Especially since at the time I was seeing someone, and told him so, and he continued. Just no. Wait til she's done working out and is at the juice bar or something, sheesh.

It was an interesting conversation. She asked me if I'd ever used one of those waist trainers. Of course I said no, and that I hadn't because it's a scam and does absolutely nothing, then I explained how I had lost the weight. She said "Well, I don't know about that. I believe that it works." I just nodded and said "well,…

Sometimes I like to imagine what it'd be like to date Lee Pace. Maybe I just need to believe it harder.

I crave red meat when I'm pre-menstrual. Big time. All I want is burger and bloody steak.
-
Ooh, interesting theory. I hadn't considered that.

I've always been mostly a "healthy foods" type eater (read: lots of veggies, lean proteins, complex carbs blah blah blah), my problem was with the portions. So, I still eat and cook what I like, just with smaller portions. Interestingly, I eat more sweets now than I did before. I never had a sweet tooth prior to this!
-
The look I get is more incredulous than anything. Like for a second they consider it, then they say something like "no, that's crazy and way too hard, I'm gonna keep wearing my waist trainer. I believe this works."* *actual comment in a conversation I had a week or so ago

I do like the Core Power Light shakes (about 150 cals, 20g of protein) or the Quest bars, which usually also have about 20g of protein and are about 160-190 cals. I have them just about every day, but mostly as protein insurance, because I have a hard time eating so much meat. I bet they'd make decent snacks though, the…

Fantastic! I wish I had better pictures of my weight loss, but it looks like I was pretty skilled at avoiding full body pictures prior to losing the weight!
