My limit is 1400 also as well. It used to be more but I wasn't losing at all. I feel I make better choices at this level!

This is what I do. I started running a year and a half ago and it really helped me to just push myself at my own pace. I didn't use the app, I just did run/walk intervals. It is a very mental game .. this running stuff. I know my body is capable of much more than my mind thinks it is.

great job!, your before pics are about like where I am now. We have a similar build. I had lost 20 lbs and gained it all back and this is a good reminder that that 20 lbs makes a big difference.

Id love to see pics too. I'm sure I have an hourglass under there somewhere, as long as I get to it before time runs out :)

Thanks for that, I really liked it, what a great message!

I don't drink hardly any coffee anymore. I have about one a day now and I only drink it because I like the taste. I used to be very addicted to it. Now I have at least one cup of green tea a day and lots of water. The reason I cut way back is because I didn't like feeling so dependent on it. It was like a drug. I didn't…

Congrats on kicking your other habits! I dont know if you have kids or family.. but if not only your sake but the sake of your loved ones.. smoking hurts you and those around you. My mother was diagnosed with cancer this summer and died 19 days later. Lung cancer from smoking, but it had spread to all the other parts of…

This is where you can look at what is giving you the most calories and look for a substitution. For example, Oil adds a ton of calories.. but if you substitute it for all natural no sugar applesauce you can really cut the calories and still maintain the flavor. In fact, I prefer applesauce in my baked goods over oil.

I feel like I'm a slow loser, I love 25 lbs in a year but there have been many many weeks where I would lose and then gain it right back the next week.. this goes on for months sometimes. I changed to more clean eating and that helped me drop 7 lbs but it is still a struggle.

Yipee for hulu plus!!!.. I'll be watching it later :)

I have 5 kids.. for kids 1-3, I was a short order cook and frequently made them their own dinners..This was even before I started eating healthy. I changed when my son was born and now everyone in the house eats what I make. I make a lot more healthy meals than before but I do let them have things like lasagna or other…

I really like Dave's Killer bread. It is all organic whole grains and non-gmo. There are many kinds I think and I love them all! I would like to make my own bread but it is difficult for me as I haven't mastered it yet. http://www.daveskillerbread.com/
