  • I've tried early morning workouts during the kids soccer season, but I find that I'm not consistent with them. I have to get up around 4 am to do them and be back home before my husband goes to work. So I think that in the long run I'd be more tired at the end of the day doing that everyday. I guess there is no perfect…
  • Aww, thank you! I used to feel guilty about taking that time for myself, but I realized that I need it for my sanity! Like most women, I'm horrible at listening to my body and am in denial that I am doing too much. I honestly enjoy my long gym days even though I'm falling over my own feet at the end of the night. The…
  • Kate, I totally understand your pain. I lived in Korea for a year and gained over 40 pounds. The food was too good and the alcohol was too plentiful. Doesn't seem fair that the Koreans are generally skinny and eating the same as they do made me overweight! This is definitely a great site to help with the weigh tloss. The…
  • Well, I don't live in Asia, but I do live in Kuwait and can relate to what you're going through. I eat a lot of Lebanese and Korean here and it's really hard for me to log food because it's not there. So, sometimes I find something that sounds like it's close to it and add calories from there. I really don't know of…
  • I've been here since Oct. 07.....
  • aw, love it! Thanks!!!
  • Oh my goodness!!! What a transformation. You look great! Keep it up!!!!!
  • Thank you all so very much! I love all the support from you guys. It definitely helps keep this weightloss wagon trucking along! I feel great. I'm starting to feel more confident and like a woman should, not just a big mommy blob. I know that it took me a while to get this far and that many people lose weight faster, but…
  • OH, I love skinnytaste! I also use the Clean Eating cookbooks. They're flavorful and healthy!
  • Thank you LeeBeeW! And congratulations to you on 101lbs!!! That's amazing!!!!!!!
  • You know, I get told all the time that I look younger than I am now.....before I got told I was 35+......yesterday I got told 25. Thank you so much! I feel great!!!
  • Haha, that's where my husband works. Too funny.
  • Oh no! Really? Where were you?
  • I go to the Hilton Resort here in Kuwait. It's a great gym because we've all become a family. A place to talk about our struggles, goals, and general gripes about living here. It's a pretty small gym, but the classes are great! Body Combat, Body Pump and Spin are my favs!
  • Hello from Kuwait! Feel free to add me. Good luck on your journey. This site is a wonderful support system!!!!!
  • Wow! Looking great! Keep it up!!!!
  • IMO pills of any kind, cleansing-diet-fat burners, aren't good for you. I'm sure that someone will be able to give you proof that they're fine but I just don't agree. Losing 1 stone in a month isn't healthy anyway, and will probably come back quickly because they are doing it the wrong way. You should try to talk them out…
  • MFP is great! I love the motivation and support that you get here! Writing down my food for the day has definitely helped me see where I was going wrong and allowed me to correct it. I can already see a difference. LOVE IT! Good luck to everyone with their goals!!!!!
  • You know, I've noticed that too! My husband calls me a freak because I eat so many veggies, so I just thought I was eating too many.....well, compared to everyone else anyway. ;-) Good luck on your journey!!!!!!
  • Wow! Amazing work! Keep it up!!!
  • Thanks so much guys! I'm thankful for the support, because I don't always feel it in everyday life. My husband has never had to deal with being overweight. I just want to be the best mom to my lil guys that I can....and I feel that being in shape and healthier will definitely help us all!
  • Good luck to you!!!
  • I spin 3-5 times a week and run. I've noticed that my thighs have slimmed and toned a lot! I was scared that the bike would bulk them up too, but it really tones them nicely. Good luck!
  • I'm interested in hearing what everyone says about this, because I have the same problem. It didn't start until after my first half-marathon, so I figured it had something to do with running long distances. But, I only ran 9.5 kilometers tonight and can feel it now. hmmm.....
  • I've already realized that writing down everything that goes into your mouth is so important! And this is only day 1!!!! I didn't realize that everything adds up so fast. I think that this is just what I need. I've looked through a lot of posts today in between a million other things and realize that there are so many…
  • Thanks! And good luck to you! Hopefully this is the answer for me. Hope all is well with you in GA......(I lived in SAV for 3 years.)
  • Thanks ladies! I'm still navigating the site, but I'm definitely going to try to record everything. Good luck to you as well!!!
