  • :wink: Thanks all you guys!! I learned something new on customizing my goals. You guys keep me motivated!! I have lost 70 pounds since being diagnosed in November. I went from walking to my car from the house to walking a 5K next month!
  • :noway: Does anyone know how they arrive at the calculations for daily intake of Fiber? As a Diabetic, I have been told to eat between 30-45 grams of Fiber daily. MFP shows 16g, so I am always way over :ohwell:
  • :happy: Hang in there Lisa!! We are all human and we will all have periods where we slip into old habits. As long as you desire to put yourself back on track, and to do it for the most important reason (your health), then you are already further along in the game than others. You can do it!

  • :wink: 1 pkg. reduced sugar devils food cake mix, 1 15 oz. can pumpkin. Mix together (This will be very thick..do not add anything else). Bake at 400 for 12 -15 minutes in cupcake tins. Makes 12 servings. Very yummy and very high in fiber.
  • You don't have to pay for Weight Watchers to follow the plan. Portion control, monitoring your calories/carbs/protein/fat intake, and exercising are key. This sight helps you to monitor that, and make positive changes, so that the food you are eating can be used as fuel, and not stored as fat. You can do it!!
  • :love: Hi guys! I am blessed to have found this sight. I was diagnosed in November with Type 2 Diabetes. I have lost 5 1/2 inches and 63 pounds since then. I was winging it, as far as the calories..etc. Now I have a guide. Glad to meet you all!
