I see everyone referring to heart rate monitors, how exactly do they work? Do you wear them during your workout like a pedometer and it gauges how many calories you are burning?

All of my pain is up in my arms like behind my boobs and over towards my armpits, so I guess my pecs. There's a little soreness in my thighs but not much. Surprisingly, my abs don't hurt at all.

I guess I can't edit anymore but I wanted to add that my chest is 48 in

I'm a newbie too but I've always heard that potassium is good for muscle soreness.

Whew, I am SORE!! I think my arms hurt the most probably because my legs are used to walking every day. I don't know how I am going to carry my 18 month old around today, he's just going to have to walk everywhere! LOL
-
Oh yeah, I will work through normal soreness but I know the last time I did the 30DS the first day after I could barely MOVE I was soo sore LOL
-
As for how I feel, I did it this morning and then went on my 30 minute walk this evening. After relaxing in the chair and getting up to put the kids to bed, my legs are starting to feel achy in the thighs and as I was stretching just now my pectoral section feels sore to the touch. Hope I can walk tomorrow!!

I looked at the amount of calories that circuit training burned and then made my own exercise with the same and logged it as that.

I am Susie, I am 25 and have 2 boys. I'm just starting my weight loss journey after my 4 year old told me I looked like I had another baby in my belly :(

I only had on one sports bra but I think tomorrow I will double up and see if it helps.
-
I'm soo sorry.

Finished D1L1 today. I'm sure I will be hurting tomorrow but I decided against weights today to try and ease myself into it. I forgot how much I hate jumping jacks with big boobs.
-
Can I still join 5 days late? I want to start back on 30DS tomorrow, I haven't done it in months but I might as well get it over with and start doing it again!
-
Truth! I used to stuff into a DD or DDD just because that was all I could find in regular box stores. I finally went and got fitted properly at Lane Bryant and it is amazing what well fitting bras do for you!

I am hoping to lose some size in my chest. And perkier would definitely be a plus. I wear a 38H but I am also breastfeeding my 18 month old still. From my experience with my first son, I doubt I will lose any size after he weans though. I went from a DD before pregnancy to a G after my first son and now an H. =/

I have PCOS as well. I have about 50 pounds to lose. I had great success before doing the Atkins diet but I am just going to lower my carb and sugar intake this time instead of going no carbs like the Atkins calls for.

I did not do NFP before having my last two kids so this is (fairly) new to me but it has worked for the past 18 months. We did not use protection at all before either of my kids and the funkiness of the PCOS kept me from becoming pregnant until I started losing weight and it brought my hormones back to normal. Like I said…

I never said that he didn't/wouldn't wear condoms... I actually said that he does wear them, just not all of the time. He has said that he does not want a V and I don't want a tubal so I guess that's that for now. Maybe I am kidding myself but as of right now, I don't want anymore kids so I posted here looking for…

Oh I am GOING to lose it!! I definitely didn't mean that I wasn't going to lose the weight for fear of pregnancy!! I just wanted to see what others had to say about birth control and losing weight. I will definitely be looking into the copper IUD more...
-
LOL, I did not practice avoiding during fertile times with my two babes. They were very much wanted and loved but surprises! This is just what I have been doing since my youngest was born.
-
Sometimes... I try to avoid sex during my fertile times but if it does happen I tell him to use a condom to be safe.

PNP = pull and pray! PCOS causes the hormones to be all crazy and something about losing weight puts them back to normal and causes the body to ovulate. I don't know all of the science behind it though. Also, I know several PCOS women that being on low-dose BC pills caused their body to ovulate by regulating the hormones.

I'm trying to talk the husband into a V but he's being a wuss about it. I will look into the copper IUD more, I am just really scared of the side effects that the Mirena caused even though it was probably the hormones in the Mirena that caused them... still makes me nervous to go that route again!
-
I used the Mirena after my first child and packed on a LOT of weight... it also caused killer ovulation pains and cramping. I'm scared to try the copper IUD and have the same issues!!

I have a belly flap that is out of control. It is my main reason to get in shape so it will hopefully shrink. I have two kids and the second was 11 lbs at birth so I had major skin stretch.

I just started trying to lose weight but I am still breastfeeding my 18 month old. I feel that if you are drinking plenty of water and not starving yourself that you will still produce enough milk for your baby.
