Sides or back. Stomach is not really an option with these breasts.

Depends on if you ate enough to discount your deficit.

There is a difference between being full and how much I can eat. A huge difference. Say for breakfast, two scrambled eggs, one piece of bacon, a slice of bread. I'm full. However, I can happily eat, two eggs, three pieces of bacon, two sausages, a piece of black pudding, a piece of chourizo, two slices of toast, a couple…

That, I presume, is your experience with depression. It is not, however, mine. My depression... my mental illness... did not start with negative thoughts. I've seen people like this and frankly, I envy them. If only my depression was based on something as simple as being down on myself about my weight or my family or my…

All I can think of is Andrew Zimmern in Ethiopia.

That was probably the funniest thing I've read on the boards in ages. Though I am left with wondering where you work that would have such a speaker. Where I work relies on customers for entertainment value.

You may have to put him on a diet, but given his age and his thyroid condition speak to his doctor about how to go about this. It's not fun to be on a diet at that age, it may have been years ago but I'm pretty certain kids today would feel the same as I did back when. So consider his emotional state as well.

The key word in all this is 'doctors'.

I had to think about what you said regarding the giving up. For me, I never gave up. If I had I would have committed suicide. I came close many times, but never actually made an attempt. To an outsider, maybe it appeared as if I gave up on so many things because I was unable to do them.

I'm glad you prefaced by saying all depression is different. Some years ago, I frequented a gym, had a PT, and never experienced the positive mental benefits of exercise. What I experienced was extreme anger. Without medication, and when I'm in the depths of depression, being around upbeat people, listing to upbeat music,…

This now, I agree with. I believe that there are many routes in dealing with depression, even with non-circumstantial depression. From CBT to formal medicines. The trick is in finding what is right for what the person experiences. I think part of the problem these days is that people turn to medication far too quickly, and…

I'm sorry, I disagree with you, unless you mean 'helped' in a small not particularly noticeable way.

~sighs deeply~ While what you suggest probably will relate to some people, it's complete nonsense for others. Not all depression is circumstantial.

Remember that a tattoo is PERMANENT. It's not like something you can easily rid yourself of, like a house or a car, (I'm making a point here, people) so take your time and be dead certain about what you get and where you get it. If you're wishywashy about either of these two things, don't do it. As much as I consider…

Being married, my husband would frown on me dating anyone. However, during my dating years I did date a man who was 25 years my senior, I didn't date anyone who was younger than I was. Now, if my husband were inclined to allow me to date, I can't imagine dating anyone under 30, I don't think I'd have an older-than limit.…

It's hair. It's natural. It's not gross. The whole hairlessness on men thing I find somewhat disturbing.

If you're worried about the trace amounts of arsenic in Splenda, don't accidentally swallow apple seeds, they have trace amounts of cyanide. That aside, I am part of the 'better living through chemicals' group, so I strongly believe that people should choose what they feel is best. If you're an 'all natural' person, go…

Way to go YOU! You look fantastic!

I don't drink much milk, but what I do use is whole milk. No reason not to.

I don't. I look at it like going to work. A necessary evil.

I always find myself thinking that any program that requires the taking of supplements is, on it's face, unhealthy. If it was healthy, you wouldn't require supplements to follow it.

I'm on the computer and online for work and personal pass-times so it's no big deal to open another window for MFP and log. When I travel I just track in a note pad and log in nightly.

I have a couple of facebook accounts, one where I play games and don't know most of the people I have as 'friends', they're just other game players. And another for family and friends, it's a useful way to keep in contact with some people and I'm not really concerned about the privacy aspect because I accept just how wide…
