Brilliant, thank you! I weighed myself three times to check that it wasn't just my morning blurry eyes reading it wrong hahaha
-
You look FANTASTIC! I hope the rest of your pregnancy goes well
-
Thank you - it all makes more sense now!
-
Congrats on being a survivor! I wish the same, especially among my age group. We always had healthy eating drilled into us but never how to protect your skin, which can have even worse effects!
-
I think I have some of that in a cupboard! It's the darkest shade though because I needed it for a show

I've been an NFL fan for a few years (my team is the Giants but I've got a big appreciation for the Vikings after seeing them in London last year) but I live in the UK and it's hard to get coverage and information on things such as the drafts! It's going to sound like a dumb question but can someone explain them to me?
-
hahaha we're a bit of a minority nowadays
-
Emphasis on the 'SMALL', methinks hahaha, that was definitely my problem the other day! Thanks for the advice :)

I used to LOVE my paleness but when it started to make me look sickly and, well, my friend was kinda right, 'blue', it does take some time to *ahem* embrace. Although I like to look a bit darker, I refuse to use sunbeds and I'm not one of those who sees the appeal of spending all day on holiday under the incredibly hot sun…

This is all very useful and encouraging, thank you! Wish I could get a spray tan but I don't have the time before - or the money! All the salons around me are very expensive, at least £30 for a tan :(
-
How fabulous your hair is!
-
yep!
-
Seems very sophisticated!
-
Oh, I realise that comment made it look like I'm doing it because of what my friend thinks - he was only joking! I do it for myself, I personally think I look SO much better with a tan and I've not been well recently, which has left me extremely pale. I get comments daily asking if I'm okay because I look 'ill', even when…

I often do the same thing as you so I can relate. Instead of thinking about my long term now, I am focusing on smaller things, like the others suggested. I'm currently 177 and never been lower than 170 so my goal for by mid June is below that! Much healthier.
-
Hi, I'm Sophie and I'm from the UK. I currently weigh 177lbs and my short term goal is 170lbs - I've been up and down with my weight for 2 years but I've never got lower than 170lbs! Long term goal....who knows! Feel free to add me :)

Too true. Canned goods should always be 1 serving. What are you going to do, reseal it? Split 1 can with a friend who also likes eating tiny bowls of soup? I'm hoping that the new Nutrition Facts guidelines apply to soups. [/quote] And how the heck are you meant to measure EXACTLY half a can without getting really fussy…

You look great! Sometimes, family and friends (especially those who have known you for a long time) don't take too well to new lifestyle changes and weight loss. Sometimes it's out of envy and sometimes it's because they don't like things changing. Either way, just ignore them, as hard as it may be!

When I was making lunch today, I realised that Heinz give the information for HALF a can of soup.... Am I the only one that thinks half a can isn't enough? Especially when it's the '68cals per half can' chicken noodle that I had today

Just straight up tell them - it's also a good way of showing which friends/family members are supportive. Most restaurants have a low calorie section/option, or a menu with calories online at least. If it's the later, research and plan what you're going to have. You could try suggesting healthier places to eat too - maybe…

I've just properly looked into a FitBit and it seems better for my lifestyle and cheaper than I first thought. The Flex looks like the best idea because it is on your wrist but as a slightly vain young woman, I have to say that I don't particularly like the idea of wearing it all day...
-
You look brilliant! Well done :)
-
ugh I get that too! i range from a uk 10-16 in various high street shops! new look is generally on the smaller end for me, which makes me feel BRILL, whereas topshop makes me feel like crap because i take bigger sizes there (plus it's ridiculously overpriced...)
-
This is really reassuring, thank you! Seeing as people have noticed that I'm looking slimmer, would it be a good idea to measure myself?
-
When I lose weight, my waist goes really quickly to the extent that my friends, family and myself notice without me having to measure, or bring up the subject etc. but I rarely lose anything on my thighs/hips/arms - if I do, it's 1/2 an inch when I measure every few months or so. That being said, I didn't measure in the…

What I would love to see would be a show that followed the progress of people throughout a year and didn't make them feel like crap if they don't lose weight for every weigh in. Yknow, a show that would actually make viewers realise that it is do-able and can be done in a healthy way. I don't think many people have been…

Ooh, I'm envious of your trip to Mexico! Carbs and sugar are things I'm watching too...It's soo hard, especially when I have a massive sweet tooth! Please share some of the videos you do, I'd love to try some new ones :)

Any recommendations for a weight loss/toning plan for women that I can do at home and doesn't take too much time out of my life?
-
I can think of a few but the one that probably upset me the most was a comment from a 'friend'. Most people I've known throughout my life, including at school, have been polite about my weight, despite the fact that I've never been particularly skinny so I consider myself very lucky. I remember once talking to some friends…

Do it once you've hit your goal and if it means that you won't be sacrificing other, more important things, in terms of money. I say to it at your goal for two reasons: one, as a reward and two, because I normally find that jeans are the first clothes that start slipping down when I've lost weight so do it if you know that…
