  • Thank you for the useful advice! Just thought I'd bump to try to get even more hahaha
  • They have a few but only stuff like Zumba and not many of the good ones work with my time table
  • THIS comment made ME emotional! Thank you so much! Like you, I've had people say "you're not fat, you look lovely already, why are you doing this etc" - the best response I've come up with is "I am doing this for me because I want to and I'm feeling so much better". Eating healthy and falling in love with exercise is the…
  • Thank you! I think you're right - I'm pretty much at the weight that's right for me, I just want to now work on toning and building muscle!
  • Oh my gosh thank you so so much everyone for the most lovely comments! You have all given me such a confidence boost - and, perhaps more importantly, I'm now thinking much more positively about how I used to look! Wishing you all the best :)
  • Do your licenses have your blood type and star sign on them too.....? ;)
  • Tried Malibu for the first time since the above mentioned incident the other week in fact - my friend made me a mix that was about 80% coke, 20% Malibu, and I'd say it was about 75% bearable! It took me 3 years to get that far so maybe in another 3 years I'll be able to stand a shot of it  Not a fan of Pina Colada or…
  • I love the Blogilates stuff - if the UK shipping wasn't so expensive, I'd definitely spend a lot of my money there! Plus I know that the Blogilates instructor, Cassey, always Instagrams her workout outfits and says where she gets her stuff from and she always looks very cute and colourful! Have you checked out Fabletics?…
  • Malibu! I used to love it when I was younger, like most teenage girls. However being thrown up on by someone who's just consumed the majority of a bottle really is a good way to put you off something....
  • I'm a big fan of the workout playlists pre-made and available on spotify - I don't have the time or motivation to keep my workout playlist updated and I like having different stuff playing to get me through my workout. Would definitely recommend people having a look through them! Most are regularly updated too.

  • I try to add in some resistance training too - that what I love about the FitnessBlender videos. I try not to overeat to compensate and I'm generally pretty good at staying within my goals but burning a few extra calories through doing predominantly cardio is useful being a young woman who can't resist a night out with…
  • Thank you for explaining it to me, everyone. I genuinely enjoy doing cardio - stuff like HIIT makes me focus on just it because it's so intense, making it so good for clearing my head. Lifting unfortunately for me isn't an option because I can't afford the £40 per month memberships of my local gyms... Maybe when I move…
  • Their on the bone chicken is pretty tasty and healthy (ish) and has lots of protein, as someone said. I would go for their ratatouille and corn on the cob and maybe some avocado as sides. If you've got a sweet tooth, their frozen yoghurt isn't too calorific and I think it's virtually fat free? It's quite filling too!
  • See, it's not really a quantity that can be classed as 'over-eating' that makes me feel terrible. Might try a couple of weeks of cutting things out to see if it improves.
  • I find that it's more starchy carbs than sugar carbs, so pasta/bread/potato - I'm sure I'm using the wrong names for the different food groups so I hope this makes sense!
  • I LOVE some of SkinnyTaste and Blogilate's healthy sweet recipes and most of them are easy to make. SkinnyTaste has a very very good chocolate cake recipe that comes to about 120-150 cals for a slice (depends on how big your slices are though!) It's a bit long to make but soooo worth it! I made it for my friend's…
  • I've downloaded the Runkeeper for Windows Phone - do I have to have a heart rate monitor for it to tell me how much I've burned? Do I open up Runkeeper and then open up C25K?
  • This sound great! I like the idea of a lower goal (mine would be about 9lbs if we're going by 5% body fat) because it will keep me up-beat and motivated, especially over the summer months which is when I often indulge a bit more than usual due to holidays, parties, BBQs hahaha :)
  • I'm pleased with my weight loss - I think I often expect too much and have to realise what is realistic. Was just a bit disappointed with my inches, seeing as me and the people around me 'saw' a difference over the past few weeks - is it possible that I look smaller/tighter without it being reflected in my measurements? Or…
  • Wish I could afford a HRM at the moment but I'm really considering it. My main source of exercise is Blogilates videos and I normally lower the calories by about 20-30 (most videos are about 10 mins long), depending on if it's HIIT or strength training. I also do ballet and my class is no way as active as MFP assumes - I…
  • Great, I'll do that, thank you very much!
  • No I don't - it's quite hard to tell because it's making me feel quite sick all around and numb around my shoulders. Plus I'm quite freaked out, which doesn't help. My mum is coming home asap though, I was worried about being home alone like this
  • But I'm not sure what the best thing to do at the moment is. I live in a very small town and the next time I would be able to see a doctor would be Monday morning.... I was doing reverse role-overs (pilates move) and I felt a kind of clicking/crunch and now it's really stiff, almost similar to the intense pain when you…
  • My friend and I were at the gym and we were doing crunches. There was a group of attractive guys next to us and we were both trying a bit harder than usual to look good, as well as work out well. She started counting out loud so they would notice us and, sure enough they did. As soon as she got to 42, she let out a MASSIVE…
  • Oh, and don't bring back sweets and candies as a holiday gift for family
  • Thank you for all the useful advice! To other people in the same situation, what I've realised is just do the best you can, eat even healthier when you're back and don't worry - that's what holidays are for!
  • Ah, so kind of trying to maintain a balance? My willpower isn't the best but I think either ice cream at lunch or dessert at dinner is something I could deal with a bit easier... I wish I enjoyed being active while I'm away but my normal life is so busy that I just slump when I'm off!
