I try to eat a pickle if I'm craving something salty because it is hardly any cal! If sweet I eat a jello. This doesn't always work for me but I don't have much will power.

Well actually I didn't start my ticker until I got to 150, but I started at 155. Does 15 lbs make my advice any better? And just so you know when you actually get down to a healthy weight range, it is EXTREMELY hard to lose so my 10 lbs is a pretty great accomplishment.

Like I said earlier. When I do go over my calories I try to work off the extra calories by exercising; however, I do believe it will slow down the weight loss if you eat back your exercise calories everyday. Imagine what their weight loss would be if the hadn't eaten back their calories. I'm not arguing it doesn't work. I just think it slows down the process.

I try to burn my calories when I over eat but if I can help it I definitely DO NOT eat them back. For instance today I ate 1450 so I went to the gym and did the elliptical until I burned 250.

I disagree with this. It is proven that the only way you will lose weight is if you burn more calories than you eat so it will ultimately slow down your weight loss. You will still lose but I don't believe it aids your weight loss.

I suggest Smart Ones. They taste the best in my opinion! Here's a list of my faves. I think that's the best way! It's already portioned out for you and the first time I dieted I used e-diets where they had an option to do all frozen food. They just add in green beans, salad, fruit, etc to them. I lost 15 lbs fast that way!

I wish I was feeling as great as you ladies. :frown: I completed W3D1 tonight and I hated every minute of it haha. I did complete it though! It wasn't too hard. Hopefully it will get even easier for me and I can really enjoy it. Right now I'm feeling doubtful.

I think it is pretty much just what is good for you. Running is going to put some muscle on you, but I wouldn't say it's the worst. No matter what work out you do or how much you do it, the only key to losing weight is burning more calories that you take in. I don't know why some people eat back their work out calories you…

I'm all for changing weigh in day to Friday haha! I cheat on the weekends and I think a lot of us are still carrying around water weight from eating/drinking bad. If everyone wants to keep weigh in day Monday then that's fine too. What do ya'll think?

I'm making a new feed for Week 1 weigh ins. Sorry so late in the day.

I start week 3 tomorrow and I'm SO nervous about the 3 minute run. I don't know if I'll be able to do it, but I am eager to find out!

My aunts ran a half marathon last year and they were told to a running shoe store and get fitted for the correct shoe for their feet. Maybe you could call around to some sporting good stores and ask if they do that.
