There was a missing mile marker and I ended up running 11 instead of 10 miles.

Awe, thank you! I'm 30. I also would have guessed that you were in your 30s as well.

I got skipped over too :(

I've got a special place in my heart for Miranda Lambert

I'm not sure I could ever work that shift!

My husband is out of town fishing and my oldest is sick. I'm homebound too! As for the bariatric surgery, my opinion varies on the amount of effort a person has put into trying to lose in a healthy manner and their ability to commit to such a huge lifestyle change.

Who doesn't appreciate a good boob picture!?!

I eat steel cut oats most mornings. I like mine with either pumpkin or banana. You can make it in big batches and reheat it.

My favorite way to eat it is to cook it in chicken broth, right before it's finished I'll add a can of Rotel tomatoes with chilies and a sprinkle of parmesan cheese. It's also good to use as a base for stuffed peppers!

I'm not a guy, and I was kind of thinking the same thing. If you are going to ask for an opinion, you have to be willing to take the answer. In response, there are days I eat as much as my husband, but I'm way more active than him and I burn most of what I eat!

I have a Polar F6 and I love it! I do suggest you get one with a chest strap, they are more accurate.

I indulged today, but I went into the day knowing that I would. I also got up and ran this morning before I cooked dinner, so that helped ;)

I'm running the Pittsburgh Half Marathon for this first one.

Thank you for all of the answers! I think I'm just going to go with what most of you are saying and working on just finishing this one and the next one I'll work on improving my own time. That's what I love about running, there's always something you can work on to improve!

I think as long as your levels are consistent it should have no impact on your weight loss. I have been on Synthroid for years, since my radioactive iodine therapy, and I have still managed to lose my weight. Just give it all you've got and at the end of the day just be able to look back at your day and be happy with every…

You look so much younger and happier :)

I love corn pasta. I think it has a better texture and flavor over the brown rice pasta.

I have heard that frozen grapes work well. I haven't tried anything yet, but I'm just getting into the higher mile runs where I feel I need something.

I did, and I was down .5. Must be that 5K Turkey Trot I ran to help with the calories! It sure was a yummy dinner!
-
I love to see you happy :)

I will be running in a race that morning, and I'll be eating everything at dinner! I believe in the understanding that an occasional feast, especially with family it is perfectly acceptable. Now, I don't think that eating the leftovers in huge quantities is ok. I'll be cooking smaller amounts of most foods so that we don't…

Well, I ended up taking an extra rest day yesterday because of a schedule mix up. It gets dark so early here now! Today I did a 6.5 mile run with a little walking thrown in when my heart rate got too high.

Coming from divorced parents, I'd suggest keeping the pictures and since you have all boys I don't think I'd bother keeping the rings. I love seeing the pics of my parents wedding, and now that they've been divorced for 25 years, they are actually friends. Something I thought I'd never see.

I did 4 today, that puts me at 19 for the week so far. This is by far the most I've ever run in my life!
-
Good luck! We can be your cheerleaders ;)

I bake frequently, and I just use the Bob's Red Mill GF all purpose flour. My kids love all the things I bake with it!

I did a 4 mile easy run today. My heart rate like to get super high when I run, so I ran as slow as I could without walking to try to get it to stay at a lower rate.
