What BusyRae said. I would recommend you start a strength training regimen (you can do it at home with bodyweight...look to bodyweightculture.com for routines), and eat at around your maintenance or just under. The difference in your body in a even a few weeks will amaze you.

You can download an app that intercepts the pictures before they are opened. This will permanently save them without the other person knowing. I'm 38, 5'7" and 185lbs, and my measured TDEE (BMF) is often over 4000cal. The weekly average is usually somewhere around 3400-3600. I'd suggest trying it, if you don't like your results, change it.
