I am in the same boat as Tidy. I twisted my ankle when I did the 5 mile a few days ago. ouch! Not bad, just enough to really hurt. Just letting you know I didn't fall off the wagon!!!! lol

So, I've noticed lately when working out after a bit my arches start to ache. Not hurt, but fatigued (weird, I know...) I have to change shoes throughout the workout, doesn't matter which shoe I start with, but if I don't break for a couple of minutes and switch shoes, my calves will start to hurt. Anyone else have this?…
-
Takes me 90 minutes start to finish. That's with 2 one minute breaks in between to change shoes (my arches get achey....I think I need to do something about that)

These are great! Thanks!!

Exactly! I log cleaning when I'm moving furniture around and lifting stuff. But I log my other workouts also. I sit at a desk, so to me, it's calories not figured into my deficit. I don't count everything, but if my heart rate is up there, it counts

Hi, I started with the basic Walk Away the Pounds Express (I think it's called "The Ultimate Collection), the dvd had 1, 2, 3, and 4 mile sessions. When I started I could barely finish 1 mile. It's a GREAT dvd to have because as you progress you can move on to the next one (and it comes with a toning band for the 2 and 3…

Hi, I'm Rita, 38 years old, Mental Health Therapist. I'm glad this group has been started, generally when people think "eating disorders," they think anorexia and bulemia, but we all know it is. I have been a binge eater since I was a child. I remember my mother bringing home doritoes and I would literally eat the whole…

Thanks! It's become my mantra, anytime I wanna quit just because I'm a little tired, I stretch it out while saying this to myself and get back to it!

I'm new here, but LOVE Leslie, so I'm in :) I am studying for my licensing exam, so I'm setting my goal for 50 so I'm not disappointed if I don't make it. I'll shoot for more, but I know this is taking up a bunch of time! Can't wait to get the exam over with!

Hi, Thanks for the invite Sarah!! I'm Rita, I live in Michigan close to Ann Arbor. I have lost 60 lbs, but I have been stuck at that number for MONTHS! It's incredibly frustrating, but my best friend is getting married in October and I MUST fit into this dress I want to wear :) Nice to meet you all so far!
-
I'm in, I will weigh in in the morning :)

In, I have over 100 left to lose, I've lost about 60 so far and have been STUCK for 8 months!

This is what I did, it was thin at first, but thickened up after a while! 2 cups milk (i use half percent) 2 TB Cornstarch (I think I actually used 3 to thicken it more) 1/2 cup parmesan cheese salt and pepper to taste. I actually got the recipe from Melissa d'Arabian's bit on the food network website for "Drop 5 lbs With…

WHY is the the concept of "Everything in Moderation" so damn difficult???? Stay within your macros and calories. I've been guilty of ignoring macros from time to time, but accountable enough to admit it rather than rationalizing. Also what works for one person may not work for another. But if it's not working, adjust.

I'm totally still in, just getting used to working 2 part time jobs and rearranging my schedule, so haven't been posting as much as I'd like. haven't touched the scale, even though it's in Hubby's closet :) Feels good to not be worried about a number, have wanted to weigh in, but I've stayed away! Thinking about not…

I also do the Walk at Home, I've been doing some HIIT type stuff at the gym (on the arc trainer), also been doing Biggest Loser dvds...LOVE them!!!

Doing good. Tempted for good reasons. I feel like I'm noticing changes in my body and how my clothes fit. Small changes, but changes nonetheless. I want so bad to look at that scale to see if that's validated...but then I think that if it's not, I will be MAD!!! haha. I'm hangin in there, I feel good so far :) Hope…
