Don't do it!!!!!!!!!!!! To get yourself back on track, just start eating better and moving more. That will burn your fat! Shame on Jillian Michaels for even marketing a product like that!

One more thing - on the days where I knew I wouldn't be able to eat until late, I packed my dinner as well.... But I am more of a grazer than a meal eater, but I made sure to eat the bulk of my calories before I got home, and then had a small snack at home instead of dinner.... Also - don't buy shakes - for breakfast, make…

I work full time, and have a 4 year old. I used to work 12-14 hour days, and now with a new job work significantly fewer, but my life is still extremely hectic. As exhausted as you are the night before, you MUST prepare the next day's food the evening before. If you want things to change, you have to change what you do,…

The only thing that worked for me worked for me was speed work. It's rough, but it help me hit every PR in 2011!

For both half marathons, I ate a bagel with peanut butter early in the morning and that did wonders for me. I tried the chews... Cliff blocks, power bar ones.... But they really messed up my stomach. The stingers have been the best for me. I am afraid the gels will also bother my stomach. I need something before I run 6…

When you Eat mindlessly, you gain weight. Mindful eating always translates into healthier eating. Makes total sense!

Your weight loss looks like a nice steady decline.... Not that fast. Looks about right to me. But, unless that butcher us making you some kind of soy chicken, you aren't vegan. You aren't even vegetarian..... Sorry!

I am also training for my first marathon after running 2 halfs and many races. My husband is my coach, as he is very knowledgeable in running.... He said I need 20 wks to train, but he does not like the Hal Higdon training guide.... I will let you know which training regimen he is using for me.....

I agree! I will occasionally have a shake or a Cliff Builder bar for breakfast if I need to have my breakfast in the car. But I prefer to eat a "real" meal!

If you are new to dieting, then the worst thing you can do are take nutrient supplements. The best thing you could do is make sure you replace what you are eating with more nutrient rich foods. If you eat fruit, vegetables, protein from plant based, or even animal based sources, and dairy or calcium rich foods, there is no…

^ THIS!!!! I am shocked that Dr. Oz would say something ridiculous that a product can target fat in one area of the body. That has long been established as being impossible by every professional in the field. That being said, I am a big fan of eating sea weed. Not for an other reason than it being a delicious way to get…

Eggplant, pasta (the rare times I eat pasta are on holidays), and a large salad. That's what my inlaws order every year for me and my husband!
-
Once a week, no. Daily, yes. I lost all of my excess weight by dropping that small glass of wine at dinner!

I don't believe in supplements doing anything they say they do. Most supplements are crap, to tell you the truth. Have a cup of tea, and eat what you are supposed to eat to get all of your nutrients in. Your body will know what to do with them. If you want to get more bang for your buck when it comes to green tea…

This sounds good! Does the banana cut the taste of the spinach?

Most morningstar products have egg in them.

Autumn wheat cereal with rice milk, or oatmeal with almond milk. Or I have a smoothie with almond milk, raw vegan protein powder, and half a banana or other fruit....
-
I log everything, however,I stand by my philosophy: no overweight person ever said "You know what did me in? All that friggen broccoli I ate!"

Be careful if you do it!!! I have a bad back and taught Zumba for a few years. As soon as I stopped teaching, my back has gotten so much better. I control my movements and know what I am doing, but if you don't, you can do some serious damage..... I teach special needs classes now, so. Toned them down, and take a few…

I am in the camp of, don't worry aboutit. So you don't eat those calories. Your body knows what it needs..... We need to listen to our bodies sometimes. I don't believe in forcing yourself to eat back your exercise calories.....

For my hungry days, I have a Clif Builder bar, some almonds, and an apple. That normally satisfies me completely. If I still want something, I get a soy latte or drink a glass of almond milk.
