I'm guessing trains are not so abundant in the USA you would struggle to find anyone in the uk who hasn't been on a train.

The other thing to note is, after a couple of drinks you are far more likely to eat bigger portions and more food as it is an appetiser

Yes it's interesting. Basically if your struggling to lose weight, and alcohol makes up a chunk of you calories it may be worth reading up on.

Sorry, posted too early, to continue........acetate is a fat burning inhibitor so even if you count the calories in the alcohol it still does more harm than just add the calories, anyone heard of this?

Thanks everyone I got it now, didn't realise you had to go to quick tools after you added items, i was looking for a button that said add meal........on that note wouldn't it be better if you could compose meals in advance so you do not actually have to add them to your diary as though you've just eaten them?

Yes my ticker is correct, possibly I need to lose another pound or two once I have lost the 15, but my bmi will be at an acceptable level once I have lost the 15lbs. Thanks for the advice I'll put it down to 1pm per week.

Thanks everyone for your help, just one thing though, when I work out my BMR in the MFP tools, it says it is 1623, so why does MFP give me a target of 1450 calories a day, as you say I shouldn't eat less than my BMR?
