You can thank me later, but check out www.uncrate.com for great gift ideas for men. Removing the cars listed (as I presume they are unrealistic gift options), I feel like I need to own at least 33% of the stuff on that website. Probably think about 80% of it is awesome though.

Edit: To answer your question, yeah, that's a pretty good grill but I don't use gas grills so it would only have half of the functionality for me.0 -
Personally I am a charcoal only sort of guy.... but it seems like a nice gift to me if he does not have a grill or the one he has is falling apart.0

That is definitely a grill. If the person you have this in mind for is a griller and doesn't already have a nice grill, they'd probably love it. Otherwise, I would say don't waste your money.0

This is what I have at home. LOVE this grill. If you really want to show him some more love, you can buy the side fire box so the charcoal grill can be a smoker and a charcoal grill....I'm just sayin'.0

Forget the propane and just get a charcoal grill and a George Foreman. It's cheaper and the charcoal is great when you're serious about grilling and the George Foreman works likes the propane for those days you don't have as much time but has the added benefit of being more enjoyable when it's raining out.0

I am not a man , but I asked my hubby. He thinks its a great concept for a serious griller but otherwise save your money.0

Thanks everyone...And my husband had to give up his grill in colorado because he didn't have enough room in the pod for it. SO I know he wants to start grilling again. and he likes to grill both ways so I thought this was a great option. Thank you everyone for the suggestions!!!!0

I'm not a guy, but I do love grilling. I prefer gas, only because I am too lazy for charcoal and haven't noticed enough of a difference for me to enjoy the work of charcoal. I can say though, that most men prefer either charcoal or gas. They don't usually waffle back and forth. If the person you are buying this for loves Gas then half of it would be useless, if he prefers charcoal same thing. I think you could get a much nicer grill that he would absolutely love (gas or charcoal) for less money than that. Not to mention the thing that (I think, again not a guy) most men like about charcoal, is it is portable. This makes the charcoal side less desirable if it can't be taken to the park, beach or camping.
Just a thought. Best wishes to you.0 -
I love my dual grill. I LOVE charcoal grilling, but there are times where I just want to grill somethin up quick and not wait on the charcoal. That's why I bought this one. Plus because the charcoal grill has an attachment for a side fire box so you can use it as a smoker too. One thing I LOVE about this grill too is the side burner. I use a charcoal chimney to light the charcoal up. This side burner is sized just right so you could put your chimney right over the burner to light your charcoal. Much easier and faster than wadding up newspaper and lighting it.0

I may not be a guy but thinking most men would want this as a gift.
I have heard most guys boast about being a grill Master so therefore in essence
this gift would morph them from being just a mere mortal man into near Godliness -
"King of the Grill"!
Stoke the ego err I mean grill and go for it!!!0 -

I know I would never use the propane part of the grill, but I do use a coleman propane burner to start my chimney if I am in a rush. normally I just use the weber lighter cubes... get the chimney going full blast in about 15 minutes0 -
Yes indeed!! that is an awesome gift!!0

I have this grill. It's a great grill. I rarely use the propane side, but it has come in handy on occasion.
I recommend getting a cover for it. I bought mine the same month as a friend of mine - several years ago. I bought a cover; he didn't. His is turning into a rust bucket; mine isn't.
One problem, however are the cheap wheels. Mine gave out over a year ago. Got it on cinder blocks and I am looking for some quality replacements.
Feel free to IM me if you have a question. I have 4 grills and I use this one the most. 3 or 4 times a week for the last 5 years.0 -
