I never used to drink it at all, now I have 4 pints a day and feel much less tired, my skin is brighter & my wee is odour free and clear! If you don't give your body water it will hold onto what it has (water retention) and that adds weight, I lost a lot of weight in my first week of drinking water which I think was mainly…

That's a good one thanks! Me & other half like spicy fajitas, but this would be a nice lower calorie version that children would enjoy too. I'm in the UK too by the way!

You could try eBay to get a new bra or 2, I know here in the UK the bra's are very cheap on there even with the shipping it would be cheaper than what you pay. Good Luck!

Not quite a specialist - I'm only a volunteer, but do have a fair bit knowledge after the course I did.

You need to make sure you eat back all your exercise calories, plus a few more to cover the feeding & drink plenty of water. To help get your supply back up try to feed more often if possible for a few days - the more you feed, the more you make. A good way to get the milk going again is a day of rest with your baby, skin…

So glad I've found this thread. After just doing my first 30 day shred workout I too have experienced this when jumping - was kind of upset until I read this! Thank you ladies!

How about the pulses? Things like lentils? I also really enjoy cous cous (think it's bulgar wheat) in place of pasta. Also would you could try quorn pieces - veggie alternative to chicken. Mushrooms are really versatile too - stuffed with cheeses or veg?

I know a banana is good for getting you off to sleep before bed - I don't know if it's any good to eat it late for weight loss though?

Yep mine was photos too. We had a family photo shoot done, I got the pics back and they were beautiful, very special - however they also highlighted my extra weight, seeing as I don't normally have my photo took very often. I'm hoping maybe if I lose the weight I'll be inclined to book a date for my own wedding and look…

I've given up crisps..... Replaced with cracker bread!
-
Cracker bread! only 19 calories a piece and you can be really inventive as to what you put on - spread, soft cheese, peanut butter, honey & banana, nutella etc.... I was a real crispaholic but the crunchiness of cracker bread is just as good for me now!

I'm just the same, I lost around 6-8lbs in the first week with no exercise, now I am exercising I just keep going up & down a lb the same as you! I'm hoping it maybe fat turning to muscle as I tone up. Going to purchase some body fat analyser scales I think!
-
hi, I'm UK too!

Mellow Yellow - cos I am very laid back & easy going (or so I'm told) and Gem - my name Gemma!

Keep an eye on the fat section on your diary, it's over the limit almost every day - that may be why.
-
So lovely - thank you!
-
6lbs is a lot for one week - well done, remember the fat turns into muscle as well which wouldn't show on the scales as a loss to begin. Sounds like you're doing amazing, keep it up!
-
Just what I was thinking - you can prove anything with statistics if you like!
