That is what I am doing! I also do a work out DVD that is 15 minutes long everyday. I have lost almost five pounds in two weeks. You also have to eat right though. You can log cleaning as cardio exercise. So I would say yes it works, IF, you literally work your BUTT off.

I don't know anything about the calories, sorry!
