I think the only time you should remove real foods from your eating plan is when you are alergic to them or it affects your health.

I would call her doctor, my daughter's doctor found a program in our area that helped A LOT. This program talked about healthy food choices, eating breakfast every day, exercising, portion control, what is a "treat", and some of the feelings associated with being overweight. Or try the YMCA/YWCA they might have something.

Today I am grateful for my muscles, the ones I feel because of all of the exercise I have been doing - aches and all.

It's hard to lose weight PERIOD!. My family would just try to feed me to sabotage me, rather than tell me I will fail. Your unhelpful mom is toxic thinking. When I have my worst snacking times, I snack on raw vegetables, many of them. eventually it goes away. I try to have some peanut butter too. Then when I am eating meals I make sure it includes proteins and whole wheat items.

I've not heard of this plan, but I sometimes think, "do whatever you gotta do to get off the plateau". 6 weeks doesn't seem very long. I would try to push through it with gusto.

you may want to consider making your breakfast with high protien foods. I don't seem to eat as much for lunch if I have some peanut butter on my waffle or a boiled egg for breakfast. Also whole wheat foods fill me up more and last longer.
