rice paper wrappers, very low calorie. Take a banana, slice it in half and then slice the halts in half, long way. Moisten the rice paper then put the 2 slices of the banana in the bottom 1/2 of the wrapper, sprinkle some cinnamon over the banana, and fold the paper over and roll up. Heat a tsp of olive oil in a non stick…

Just my own point of view, but FAT is good stuff, it is needed mostly in the brain and every cell uses it to help create/maintain the cell wall, plus lots of other uses. I choose the "grass fed/grass finished" meat and get the 85% so that I can have more fat. When not fed grain, the cows produce a balanced meat with the…

Wow Heidi, thanks for the education, I didn't know about the different states and don't really know much about Obamacare, but was thinking it would help. Didn't know some states didn't have medicaid either? Learn something every day!

I agree with the one poster who speaks about eat anything you would any other time! I love a poached egg in the morning, and always have it with a slice of cheese and a cup of broccoli or spinach with a tsp of olive oil. Don't know if attempting to lose weight is "new" for you... I can remember when I first started macrobiotics I felt the SAME way as you, very depressed as I thought all I can eat are beans and salad! Don't over load yourself with worrying about creativity... you have had a ton of good responses and lots of great websites,…

I learned from a Filipino friend, that once you change your "concept" of what breakfast "has" to be, then the whole world of opportunities opens up! She eats fish and rice for breakfast.. so I tried it.. tastes great! I finally convinced my husband to try "sandwiches" for breakfast and he now loves his white bread, spread…

I am 61 and 5'3", medium frame, presently weighing 181. I've gone up and down over the years, my best weight feels good around 135-140. I've used weight watchers which has always helped, converting it to my own program inserting only fresh organic foods, nothing processed. I "know" how to do it, but let life's stressors…
