They're a great start, but for me, I love lifting heavy.

You are beautiful!

I average about 120g of protein per day.

Easy way to make it to 1200 lbs is a banana and PB. banana = 100 calories, 2 tbsp pb = 190-210. ta-da. it's not hard. sneak it in as a snack between breakfast and lunch, before a workout, whenever. My base is 1370 and I try to eat most of my exercise calories. Today I'm at almost to a net of 1200. Total is 1604, but I…

I LOVE this.

You'll be fine! As you eat less, your stomach shrinks naturally. Now that I've been cutting my calories, I just simply can't eat as much as I used to. It hurts! That's natural. Just give it time.
-
Definitely! There's a big difference in your face, and you're glowing!
-
That's great! Congratulations.

Welcome!! You'll do great. It's a lovely place, super easy, and lots of wonderful people to learn from!

1200 should be fine for you, just make sure to eat your exercise calories. You may need to increase or make sure you NET 1200 the closer you get to your goal - or maybe even now. Test it out, if you lose, great. Once you stop, increase.

I used to walk in place while waiting on the copy or fax machines, also knee raises or squats. Walk as much as possible, avoid email, etc.

Yep! It'll help you! If it's in the chest, take time to rest. If it's in your head, go ahead! That's the rule, ideally. If you can't function, then leave. At least you tried. I usually don't run when I'm stuffy, 'cause the impact hurts my head, but you can always try.

You don't. Lump it into your lifestyle.

I usually just make my meatloaf like I do burgers: green onions, some egg and bread crumbs, mix together and bake. Mmm. That reminds me, I have a TON of beef in my freezer as well and haven't had meat loaf in awhile!
-
I usually bake some to serve with chicken and a veggie. I like just tossing mine in italian seasonings and baking for 20 minutes at 350. Super easy!

The best way to tone AND burn fat is to lift heavy, so you get both strong, and lean. The more tax you put on your body, the better it performs. You can't keep lifting 5 lb dumbbells and JUST lift it 50 times. My trainer said that lifting low weights with high repetition is better for endurance and grip, such as for rock…

Yum to those abs, girl!

Their skinny drinks are great! I think all of them are 100-140 calories. I myself love the skinny caramel macchiato in the winter time. About to pick it up again for those eeearly mornings! I try to stay away from caffeine, but when I need it, skinny Starbucks is always on the list!

Pelvic lifts. I LOVE them. You can do them by lifting both hips or by only keeping one leg bent and one leg straight, and lifting that way, like Jillian Michaels does hers. either way, I've seen results from doing them. Good for your glutes and thighs as well.

THIS.

Your net should be at least 1200 - so that means eat your exercise calories. Typically, you need to increase your calories the closer you get to your goal because your body is doing things easier as it gets used to certain things, i.e.: exercise. So, the more in shape you get, the harder it is to burn calories or lose…

I have two. One I hate because I'm not religious anymore (it's a scripture reference) but I just got my 2nd one about a month ago, in honor (and now memory) of my grandmother. I love it. It still takes me by surprise and I love getting a glimpse of it everyday as I drive and when I roll up my sleeves, etc.

My grandma swore by the Netipot and she was no dummie. Get one. My brother and my uncle also swear by them and they both suffer from baddd allergies and colds every year.

The HRM. Definitely.

I didn't feel smaller until I got to 20 pounds (and yes, I've gained some back) so just keep working hard!!! Either way, you are HEALTHIER than you were before. Try to focus on something else... measure yourself and compare inches instead of weigh. Usually that is more telling than the scale. Or try milestones. Work on how…

I would increase weight. Try a workout with heavier weights or do 3 circuits instead of 2 per week.

I LOVE black olives! And the only "bad" thing about olives is the sodium - and as long as you keep that in check, it's fine.

Everyone is different. Some people don't digest carbs well. I, personally, can lose weight fairly easily, even with eating a carb (and sometimes not even whole grain) at every meal.
-
I didn't think it was hard when I was doing it. When I started trying to lose weight, I simply cut portions and then I started logging to see on average how much I was eating. Ended up being 1200-1300 calories and then signed up for MFP and that's what they suggested so it wasn't a big change for me. Now, my base is 1370…
