Watch your fiber. Aim for 25-30g per day. You can get fiber in fruits, veggies, whole grains, beans and legumes.

I was always jealous of my best friend when I was 13, whose hip bones stuck out. Even now, when I lose weight enough, when I lay down, they stick out (but not when I stand up), and I think it's hot. When I got to about -21 lbs, I would lay in bed and make my boyfriend touch my hip bones, lol.

haha If they are, I guess I'm trashy! I have a hummingbird on the inside of my left wrist. I love it and I get compliments on it all the time. It's just a silhouette... I think if it's simple, it's good. I like writing, but I don't like the big cursive stuff with filagry that looks like a blob from far away.

My friend and I "invented" a sandwich when I was 15... ham and peanut butter. It sounds gross, but yeah, it's delicious.

I didn't start noticing myself until about 20 lbs in ... it depends on how much weight you have to lose, though. I started with 40 (am at about 35ish now, haha)

It's not the time that's important. It's the intensity. You could get a GREAT workout in 30 mins. HIIT intervals on the treadmill, HEAVY lifting with bursts of cardio between sets, etc. But definitely just walking is not going to cut it...

If you cut down on your sugar or caffeine intake, you could be going through withdrawals. That usually happens when people cut desserts, coffee, or soda.

Definitely do not eat 2000 calories unless you're burning like 600 calories a day!!! That would be a total including exercise. Or maintenance before exercise. I would try the 1200 calories MFP has you set for (I'm assuming that's to lose 1 lb per week?) and see how you do for a few weeks. You can always add calories if…

I eat all of these but a few! I LOVE beans. Black eye peas, black beans, and chickpeas are almost always in my pantry. Throw some on a homemade tostada with some cheese and sour cream, yum.

Practice self control. Bring snacks or eat BEFORE you go these places so you can nibble while you're there, but not pig out.

Try to aim for at least 20g of protein per meal for it to be filling. Have 1 big protein or 2 little proteins...if you have eggs, have a glass of milk for extra protein. If you have cereal, use whole milk and have an egg on the side. Try whole grains for extra protein as well... I love my multigrain waffles (4g protein)…

The things that are expensive are the processed foods...so when you get into buying organic or natural versions of processed foods, THEN it gets expensive...like a box of fruit strips is like $4, versus like $1 for an off brand fruit roll up. I was home schooled, and although am not against homeschooling, I do strongly suggest trying to find someone to help your sister with her social skills. She definitely won't develop those being home schooled, so that's really not a good alternative to public school for that type of problem. I know plenty of home schooled…

Have good alternatives on hand for your cravings....fro yo instead of ice cream, a SMALL serving of chocolate, etc. Eating over a little is okay since your body burns more calories to get rid of the dead cells - that's why you're hungrier!
