Sloppy joes? This is my version: 1 tbsp ketchup to each 4 oz of meat, along with oregano, pepper, LOTS of cumin, thyme, sage, and garlic powder. Just add to taste, but use the most of cumin (it gives it that taco meat flavor). Then serve it on top of steamed rice or whole wheat buns. It's so tasty, I LOVE it and eat it…

Yes, cardio increases my appetite (I'm a quarter inch shy of 5'4"), but I can still stay within my calories for the day because I know how to plan. I don't worry about it too much. I do lift 3-4x week either way!

You say whatever the hell you want because it's YOUR facebook. Personally, this would be my choice: "I can lose the weight, but you will always be a b!tch." Keep up the good work, honey. I think you look great.

Stay within your calories to lose fat, do high intensity cardio (as in elliptical with resistance or running intervals, cycling) and strength training. Get on shape.com & self.com and just type in abs or thighs or butt in the search bar, and print out the exercises that come up. You should work all areas of your body, not…

If you're not hungry, girl, you are not working out hard enough or right. I'm ALWAYS hungry. You should check your diary and see what you're eating. There are certain foods that can boost your metabolism. Eating every 2-3 hours keeps your metabolism going, as well as working out very hard. I do circuit training (strength…

I think it's bullsh|t that you can't build muscle on a calorie deficit. Obviously, you can't BULK UP, but you will build some muscle. If you're getting stronger, obviously something muslce-related is growing. That's my opinion, anyway!

Do whatever you want. I try to eat no later than 2 hours before bed, but it doesn't really matter. If you lose weight and grow in your sleep, I don't see how you can't digest your food in your sleep. They say your metabolism slows down, but it doesn't make logical sense to me.

Once a week, but sometimes I weigh Friday and Monday to keep myself accountable (or if, like today when I KNOW I'm holding water 'cause I'm super sore - I'll weigh Monday because I KNOW I lost weight and it's just not showing up yet).

Wow, congratulations!!

I started with the elliptical and that worked out nicely for me for awhile. The trick is to mix it up so you're not doing the same thing all the time. Once you get comfortable doing 30 minutes, increase your level or resistance... or try going faster instead. Go backwards. Do intervals - go super fast for 30 seconds, then…

Hmmm...a little of both. When I'm stressed, I usually want bad foods. When I'm bored, I just tend to eat a lot of anything that's around - healthy or not, it's more about portions when it comes to boredom.

I honestly like Larabars and Clif bars the best. I eat Clif Builder bars (protein bars) after my workouts and every now and then will eat the regular Clif bars as a snack if I don't have time and have them on hand. I like them because they're all natural.

If it's lower in calories than it normally is, it's not real food, and your body is not going to benefit from it. Trust me. I don't buy a whole lot of things that are low fat, sugar free, etc. because of this. If it's naturally not that way when it grows (IF it grows), it's not worth it.

I don't mind people commenting on my losing weight, because it's a fact I didn't look that great before. Also, I see it as them acknowledging all my hard work. Everyone I know KNOWS that I'm doing it just by eating healthy and working out, so that's just how I see it. *shrug* I don't find it offensive.

I've always heard keep your back straight and don't let your knees go past your toes - but then there are plie squats where that's kind of impossible ... I just do it a little bit past my comfort zone and to the point where I can feel it in my quads, hamstrings, and glutes. Just act like you're sitting in a chair, knees…

That sounds amazing! I'm not married, but bf and I are thinking Vienna or Italy when we finally get married. I'd love anywhere out of country, though! I've never been anywhere!

You SHOULD be eating back your exercise calories (e.g: eat 1200 calories, burn 500 calories, and then eat less than 500 calories). You don't have to eat ALL your exercise calories, but I suggest at least getting to 1200 NET everyday. The net is what you eat minus exercise. So, if you workout and burn 500 calories, and you…

That must be such an amazing feeling!

Probably cranberry vodka. It's my drink of choice and about 60-80 calories per cup depending on the size. It's a house party, though, so I'll have to eye the bartender closely :D

NOT looking at my lovehandles in tight jeans and NOT having to pick a flowy shirt to go with it to hide them. Not having to lay completely flat on a lawn chair while wearing a bikini so my stomach is flat. Wearing short shirts with skinny jeans No more cellulite No more ruined jeans because of my chub rub (thighs) Buying…

I've been drinking a glass of whole milk just about everyday for the last several weeks. It gives me more protein, keeps me fuller longer, and I love it!

I think at five years old, that's probably fine. I think as the child gets older, you could be more modest. I know I didn't want to see my parents naked as a child, I thought it was GROSS... I remember seeing my thirty year old cousin naked in the shower and thinking her boobs were gross and wondering WHY she wanted me to…

I think 1% is about average until you get closer to your goal, it may slow down a bit. 20% is actually pretty low. 25-30% is actually healthy for a woman. Once you get lower, you get into fitness and then athlete levels.
