  • 6" flatbread chicken breast, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, banana peppers, spinach, avocado, little bit of sweet onion sauce. Usually works out to be about 450 or so. I don't go often because the sodium is high, but if I eat out, the "healthiest" options are about the same for sodium - around…
  • Declaw the cat. Cats get very bitter. We trained our two cats growing up to scratch on the post, but if we went away for a couple days (even if they were watched), they would "get us back" by scratching up the doors, walls, the ends of my mom's island in the kitchen. It was bad. They never stopped and my parents got rid of…
  • I've heard many women say pilates and yoga helps because it's stretching you and the stuff on top isn't necessarily fat, it's skin from cutting through your muscle. And when did you reinjure it? You may have started exercising too soon after the C-section and you could be okay to try again.
  • can't wait to not have flabby arms anymore!
  • Exactly, just do it. that's what i did! just started with what i could do, 15-20 seconds at a time, walk until you catch your breath (don't let your heart slow down TOO much - just wait until it's not pounding TOO hard anymore) and then run again. you'll do great.
  • Ever since bf switched to boxer briefs, I have been a big fan.
  • - You total the transaction without putting the coupon in RIGHT after the customer tells you they have one. DOH! I did that today. - Blowing up the bathroom, forgetting to spray, and then your boss walking in right after you. (I secretly laughed, but still a bit embarassing)
  • One of those plastic candy canes filled with mini Reese's peanut butter cups. I got it for myself, haha.
  • Definitely drink more water, and make sure you're eating good calories. If you don't have a heart rate monitor, get one. You could be overestimating your workout calories and therefore, eating too much, or not eating your exercise calories and eating too little.
  • I try to treat myself everyday but not go crazy. It could be one serving (1/2 cup) ice cream at work, or some nachos from taco bell (if i have the calories). i just always make sure it fits, calorie-wise, into my day, so i don't go over. if you're going to go over on your calories, i would say only do it one day a week or…
  • Just plan your day out better. I do a LOT better if I plan my whole day when I sit down at breakfast.
  • I agree. I got frustrated waiting tables last year because my boss didn't know nutritional information of anything he had his kitchen staff making... it can't be THAT expensive to hire someone to calculate it all out, can it? Ugh. These days I typically only eat fast food (Subway, Chipotle, Chick-Fil-A, etc.) or chain…
  • Wow, you look fantastic!
  • I'm a quarter-inch shy of 5'4" and currently 170, trying to get to about 140.
  • Yes. It's called happy weight. Unfortunately, I too, have been thinner out of a relationship the last several years. With me it's usually because I stay up later for their call or for them to get home from work, then I'm hungry, so I have a big snack or second dinner... put off workouts waiting for them, etc. Now that I'm…
  • well i hope you held onto that small shirt 'cause you look about that size now! um... our first christmas, two years ago, my boyfriend gave me this beanie hat with a bill. it was cute in theory but i did not like it at first, lol.
  • I am mostly Dutch, followed by Italian, German, English, French...
  • Yep. Diet sodas can be worse than regular because of the fake sugar - soda in general has fake sugar because high fructose corn syrup is manafactured. I'll take a Dublin Dr Pepper made with Imperial cane sugar ANYDAY! But I won't, 'cause I'm not drinking it, either, lol! Great job making this big decision!! Good…
  • You look like Lea Michele in that last picture! Great job, also!
  • As for #5 - I knew this! I try to eat about 120g of protien per day. I keep reading you should eat 1-2g PER lb of lean body mass.
  • These are a little old (february & april) but it's a good idea. Lately, however, my hair is a LOT crazier in the morning since my layers are shorter and my hair is naturally curly. lol Wish I had a pic of a couple days ago's morning hair! Dressed down - no makeup, first thing in the morning Dressed up (for valentine's day)
  • I've felt like vomiting during a few workouts and it was usually due to not waiting long enough after I ate before RUNNING (lol), drinking alcohol with my lunch and then running (WORST IDEA EVER, lol Felt like my stomach was on fire! :embarassed:), and waiting too long to workout and basically working out on an empty…
  • The last few topics I've created have only gotten a few responses and they were only from people on my friends list. Don't feel bad. There are sooo many topics on here... I honestly only reply to ones that pop up on the side of my homepage. I only go into the message boards and scroll through if I have a lot of time. If it…
  • THIS. Although 1] I cut out cheese early on just because of calories, but have it back in my diet now because I am eating more calories, working out harder, etc. So don't think you have to live without cheese forever. I love my cheese and there was no way in hell I was giving it up for the rest of my life! lol 2] I try to…
  • Honestly, you'd be better off just adding some no-sugar added green tea to your diet, and lots of fruits, veggies & whole grains to get the fiber you need, so you can poop out whatever "toxins" you're talking about. Just change your diet, eat healthy, and you'll be fine.
  • lol I have some skinny jeans just like that. BARELY can fit my *kitten* in them, but they're so cute. I wear a long top with it and a flowy cardigan to mask the muffin, lol.
  • That's great! I definitely make sure I workout if I'm in a challenge and they really help!
  • I say if you're losing, just stick with it! I personally believe in percentages. I've done very well (don't believe my ticker - been here for 2 years, and have gained, and now am losing again) with MFP. I'm set for 45% carbs, 30% protein, 25% fat. I aim for 120g of protein per day and that's really the main thing I focus…
  • If one meal is 2000 calories, you are eating something you shouldn't... and definitely not eating in moderation...or you are only eating once a day and pigging out. If you only need to gain a couple more pounds, just eat your maintainence calories and try adding a couple hundred extra for a few weeks and see if you gain.…
