So he gets a slurpee but can't have fruit? How the **** does that make sense? And pepperoni? Who eats pepperoni by itself? So fattening. Ugh. In a way I feel bad because he's got horrible examples, but I also know that when I was younger and chubby with overly obese parents, I knew I didn't want to be like them.

The more weight you lose and the more in shape you get, the more calories you NEED to consume because your body is working more efficiently. Start eating alll your exercise calories and see what happens after 2 weeks or so. Remember, if you make any big change in your workout routine or diet, your body needs time…

learning to like burpees, lol!!

lift heavy and eat at maintenance

I've come across quite a few people who are under the assumption it's healthy, so you can eat however much you want!!! lol *eyeroll* Log EVERYTHING is my advice. Been there, done that. Even though it says 0 lbs lost, I've done this rodeo before... and I don't have a scale. :P

You exercise and eat your exercise calories. I'm at 1300 base but I burn at least 300 calories per day so that's extra food right there.
-
YES! your waist is definitely smaller and you just look leaner and more toned!

Usually like 3 weeks since by that point, it's almost a habit so *shrug* though I was a little upset that I got deleted by a couple people after I quit... but I do understand so, hey, if they come back and want to be friends, you can always re-add them if you feel guilty lol

I have pretty big thighs as well (28" each right now). Running definitely helps, but you want to build muscle in your legs as well so once you're at your goal weight, you don't just have skinny legs, you have toned legs. So I do a lot of bodyweight exercises like squats, lunges, plie squats, yoga & pilates help a lot, but…

I have a membership and do both just so I don't get bored. Today I'm lifting at home and then will do a cardio workout on one of my Pinterest boards. Tomorrow I'll probably just run at the gym.

Peanut butter is a healthy fat. Don't eat an alternative, just eat an all natural peanut butter that only has nuts and oil in it. The fat is good for you. It's all natural, why wouldn't you want it in your body?

Probably because you've lost weight. As you get closer to your goal weight, it will actually go up because your body will be working harder for you and you'll need more because your metabolism will be faster, especially if you're building muscle. Just take what it gives you and be sure to eat your exercise calories so you…

Just do it. You could start with the girly ones, but I think it'd be better to just start with a regular push up and get as much done as you can. If you get down and can't push yourself back up, well you got half way! Keep trying until you've done one, and in no time you'll be able to do 10 and so on!

Just imagine yourself fit, healthy, happy, wearing clothes and not worrying about fat rolls or cellulite or whether you need to suck in your stomach and wear something over to hide your lovehandles. Think how much easier SHOPPING will be. How much will power you will have gained by that point, and how FABULOUS you will…

I don't have one, woo hoo! My ex was a drag, though. Sometimes he was helpful but not in a constructive way. He would be like "you can't have that, you're trying to lose weight, remember?" but then other times he just wouldn't care and wouldn't say anything. Either way, it wasn't encouraging. I got tired of it. He also…

No, I just imagine him working out and get all turned on. lol
-
My ex did that do me too and it got really discouraging. Tell him to just keep his thoughts to himself since this is YOUR thing. Do your thing, girl. If you feel you need to diet and lose weight, do it for you and ignore him.

Yep. I'm 24, so dating someone say, 35... wouldn't be so bad if they were vibrant, outgoing, hopefully in shape or working towards that, attractive & had a great personality.

You're lucky you got that! When I eat a cheeseburger now, I instantly have a stomachache, it's ridiculous. So I stay away!

No. The sodium alone will kill your day even if you manage to control how many slices you eat and stay under calories. Plus, it'll make you feel yucky if you've been good for a while. Try an alternative... have any english muffins or flatbread or something you could make your own pizza with?

It sounds like you really need to talk to your doctor if you're concerned about certain exercises you can't do. I would second what another poster said about physical therapy. I messed up my elbow from playing volleyball a few years ago and every now and then, when I lift real heavy, it will hurt. I usually just take a…

You won't always be proportional as you lose weight, trust me, been there!! While losing weight, I will become a pear even though I'm hourglass shaped. Your body will not lose weight evenly in all areas at the same time. Your body will start with a majority in one area, and minority in other areas...that's why you feel…

I'm in! I just started counting again after a long 2012... last time I was being faithful tracking was well, a long time ago. Early 2012... tired of my extra 40 pounds & am looking to get rid of it as well! :] I succeeded losing 22 lbs in 2010 but couldn't keep it off. I'm starting back with the basics, eating REAL food,…

More protein. More real food. Less sugar and make sure you're getting the right entries when you log (highly doubt your DD coffee this morning had 9g of protein in it)
