Love this!

Wow do people ever get defensive around here. The bottom line is to do what works for YOU. However, if you log on here with posts like what the OP was describing, you have to expect posts like this one to come up. The OP wasn't bashing everyone eating less than 1200 calories, just the ones that post about feeling like crap…

You look amazing! Thanks for sharing your story and pictures. You are very inspirational!

Congrats on your success! The difference between your two pics is amazing! You should be proud. I do also want to say that I don't think people were trying to be negative although I can see how it would come across that way. Eating 20g or less of carbs a day is not doable to some people and I think they just want to see…

WOW, great results! You should be so proud of yourself! It's been fun having you as one of my partners in crime for this workout program. I can't believe it's almost over!

My day 60 results had me down 5lbs and 13 inches with a gain of 6 inches (calves and upper arms). I am only 3 lbs to goal so I did not have a lot to lose. I'm hoping phase 3 gets rid of the last 3 lbs for for me! I did do the kick start at the beginning and followed it to a T. The first phase I really stuck to her meal…

I have never done Insanity so I can't say much about the program although I have heard very good things. I personally love Body Rev. and I plan on doing a second round of it after I finish the first. I will be starting week ten on Monday. The workouts are always changing and that keeps me interested and not bored. The…

You look amazing! Great work! I'm adding you. :o)

My coworker and I bought BR at the same time and have been doing it together. She is a vegetarian but recently started eating fish again for the health benefits. We both thought it would be difficult to do the diet as the vegetarian options are limited. You can always buy her Master Your Metabolism cookbook. I ended up…

Also keep in mind that Jillian has similar programs to this. You can get 30 Day Shred or Ripped in 30 for under $10 until you can put money away to save for BR. :o)

I started at 128 and then went up to 128.5 the first week (I did the kick start). I upped my calories after the kick start and then started losing. I was down about 3.5-4lbs and my target was set to only lose 0.5 lbs a week. I also got a new scale but I think the 3.5-4 lb loss is accurate (if anything I lost more than that…

Here are my phase 1 results! I lost 3.5 lbs and close to 10 inches

That's amazing! You should be so proud of yourself! I can't believe the change from just 30 days. Keep it up!

Sorry everyone, I'm trying to add pictures but they are too big. I'm running out of time to fix them now. I'll post later.

Congrats on finishing off Phase 1 ladies! I will also be starting Phase 2 with you. I will be taking measurements, pictures, etc. also. Be sure to post them in here if you feel comfortable! If my pictures show the differences I see in the mirror I will definitely be posting mine here to try and motivate others curious…

The next three days are my last of days of phase 1! Stayed tuned for measurements and possibly some pictures!

I couldn't agree more! I did the kick start as written but when week 2 rolled around I upped my calories to 1550ish per day. I have been using her meal plan as guideline of what to make and then I have been eating more of it (I've been mixing in my own things as well). I find that her recipes are over estimating the…

Ditto! Although as soon as I heard "brownies" I ordered the cookbook and should be getting it on Thursday. haha

We'll see what torture she has in store for us in phase 2 soon! I can't believe how fast it has gone. :o)

Honestly, I have never felt better. I have a lot of energy and my clothes are fitting so great. I even feel like I stand up straighter. I don't think I have lost much in the amount of lbs (scale is all over the place, I ordered a new one that I should get on Thurs.) but I can feel the inches are coming off and muscle tone…

This one was a big one I noticed too! I knew it was wrong the first second I looked at it because of the avocados. I think they must have calculated the recipe and completely forgot to add in the avocados. I have been finding a lot of things are off and do my own calculations with my own ingredients. I calculated that one…

I can't believe I'm on week 4 already! So excited to finish up phase 1 this week and see what phase 2 has in store. Keep up the great work everyone!

No offense taken! It was hard writing my response to you as it didn't come across the way I wanted it to. What you are saying definitely makes sense. In my case it must be a mixture of water and muscle. I am in a unique spot compared to others doing the program as I am down to the last five pounds to lose and have been…

Yes, that is accurate! :o)

I guess I don't understand why my measurements would still say that I gained 2.5 inches on each calf after three weeks if it's not muscle. My calves were flabby before and now they are rock hard, with little fat. I was also doing other workout programs before I started the BR so it isn't like it came out of no where and I…

You are correct that Jillian says no strawberries (also peaches) or RAW cruciferous veggies (like broccoli, kale cabbage, etc.). She does have recipes in her meal plan where the cruciferous veggies are cooked She says that it can interfere with the iodine uptake in the thyroid. It might be a good idea to take a look at her…

It really sucks when the scale doesn't match our effort put in. Hopefully this will make you feel better... When I did the kickstart I stuck to the diet and did the two exercises each day but by the end of the week I had gained 0.5 lb (128 to 128.5 lbs)! The next week I weighed in around (124-125 lbs, I logged 125). I…

I was really feeling it today from workout four. Those up/downs are called "surrenders" (I've had to endure them before in a different video of hers). I thought the workout was funny today because it seemed like all of her athletes wanted to kill her. Definitely the most challenging of the workouts so far.
