  • WOW! Great loss!
  • I really worked hard on staying on track this week and it showed! I lost 1.8 pounds! Next week is going to be a challenge since I'll be traveling again. Need to stay strong! Heaviest Weight - 264 SW on MFP - 245.8 CW - 225.8 GW - 135
  • You go girl!! It will be awesome when you get there!! It's been forever since I've been in the 100s and I'm really hoping to get there this year!
  • SW 1/2/13 - 232.6 CW 1/19/13 - 227.6 Total lost - down 5 lbs I've had an erratic schedule the last couple weeks and been up and down. Have't been able to weigh in on my normal days and been on business trips. Got back on track this week and it showed. So I didn't lose a pound every week, but I'm down 5 pounds total since…
  • Wow! You look fantastic!! You definitely worked hard this past year.
  • This week was a bit rough for me since I was traveling and coming off the holidays still. Before my normal weigh in I was up a few pounds. Today (not my normal day), I'm down 3. So I'm taking that as a three-pound loss this first week. Next weigh in will be next Wednesday, after a full week of business travel. Yikes!
  • I usually weigh in on Saturday mornings. DIdn't this week because of a business trip so I thought I'd weight this morning. Up a pound for me to. :-( So I'm going to weigh myself tomorrow and use that as the official weigh in for the week. That gives me one more day!
  • And maybe be held a little accountable, which for me might be what I need.
  • Not that I'm thinking this might happen, but trying to be realistic. What if we gain? Do we still post? Or only if we lose?
  • Count me in! My family and I decided (again) that this year needs to be the year we lose weight. We can all stand to lose at least 50-100 pounds each, so we're aiming for 50 by the end of the year with added cash incentive for whomever loses the 100.
  • I need to lose about 100 pounds as well. I'm 5'3" and at 230 right now. I'd be happy to get to 150 and then evaluate, but I really think I'd be best at about 130-135. I'm always looking for more friends.
  • It's been about 2-3 months for me without Diet Coke. I used to drink it like crazy as well. I would tell myself it was no calories so I could drink as much as I want. Plus, I reasoned, drinking it satisfied my sweet tooth and kept me from eating other stuff not good for me. After I read an article about what is in it and…
  • It definitely can vary. Not only with what you might have just eaten, if you have drunk a lot of water or even if you haven't had a BM yet. I also notice that certain body types fluctuate a lot more. I have PCOS and I seem to fluctuate a lot. But it is definitely not body fat that is fluctuating that much. It is water…
  • Same with me and I was thinking of posting this morning asking why that happens. I've gained six pounds in two days. I know I overate, but there's not way I overate 21,000 calories (6 x 3500) so it has to be water weight, excess sodium, something! So what you are all saying is the best way to counteract this is to be sure…
  • That's awesome! It's great to know you can do it!!
  • I once read a book where they suggested rating your hunger level on 1-10, with 1 being totally ravenous, could eat a horse, and 10 being so overstuffed you have to unbutton your pants just to breath and there's no way you're leaving the Lazy-Boy for at least three hours. The author suggested waiting to eat until you're…
  • Oh those emotion-filled sugar binges are a killer for me! I will have a candy attack that is just crazy and then all of a sudden I've eaten 8 or 9 candy bars! Candy is one thing I have to tell myself I can't eat at all because even one little bite is enough to send me overboard.
  • I have PCOS and have always struggled with weight. At my highest I was 265 and would always look like I was seven months pregnant. I would go for years without a period. I had to take fertility medicine to get pregnant (and on top of that I developed blood clots while pregnant). Diabetes runs in the family and I had…
  • I'm still fighting the same pounds over and over again. Too much neglecting my healthy eating while traveling for work and on vacation and not enough excercise. Now it's time to kick it back into gear!
  • I'm joining too. I want a challenge to break through my plateau. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. Plus, if I lose 25 pounds by then, I will have lost 50 pounds thus far.
  • How about a glass of milk?
