Are you really only eating 500 a day? Or is that after what you burned? My advice which I am sure people will disagree with is not to worry about it. The reason I say this is because there are times when I am not hungry ad I am under calories but then the next week I am super hungry and cannot get enough so I figure it…

Okay, thanks for clearing that up for me!

I do not think this is true. Everything I have read and even heard said on various exercise tapes is that a combination of cardio and strength make you lose fat the quickest. Also I never heard anything in my life about muscle sticking out through fat. Lean muscle develops under fat but does not stick out through it. You…

I can relate to that!

Shouldn't this go for all the "beach body coaches" on here, too who disguise themselves as friends only to eventually PM you to buy exercise tapes and shakes? Sorry, I just had to add that in. It annoys me.

It has happened to me a lot. I am hoping this time is "the time" But I have been there. One thing that is a comfort is "Your muscles have a memory." It does not take too long to get back to where you once were Another thing is to try and stay in the "now." Don't focus too much on where you want to be far in the future or…

Great job! You look so much younger now too.

Here are some I found for you. But it will only work with diet and lots of cardio When the cardio depletes the fat, you will have these beautiful muscles underneath. At least this is what I have been told. http://just-for-mom.slides.kaboose.com/247-10-minute-routine-back-toning-exercises…

Well I think cardio is the only way to get rid of fat but combining that with lifting seems to show the fastest and best results for the changes in the back. Specifically, I read flies and deadlifts are good for the back and training your abs- but again has to be combined with cardio. My info comes from what i read on…

We have to stay in the NOW. You cannot go back, you cannot jump forward. The only thing you CAN do is the best you can right now. And all you could do THEN was the best you could do at that time. That was the best we could do. Now we can do better. Every single person who walks this earth has shame in their past. It might…

That sounds like a good plan. The scale can be misleading because muscle can weigh the same as fat but yet is so much leaner.
-
Personally when I looked at the program, I figured I needed to get stronger before I could handle it so I decided to so some other things first. I also heard from people who did it that they do not do very much cardio so I think it is more focused on building muscle and toning than losing weight (althogh you will lose or…

I am sure they can, that makes sense because they create a deficit with their calories. Yet I have read so many articles that say doctors recommend 3 days to maintain weight and 5 to lose weight. My own doctor when I was not losing while I did 3 days of 30 minutes on the bike every day for months said I needed to increase…

I was thinking the same thing. My jeans are big but I am not where I want to end up yet.
-
Also- everything I have read says if you want to lose weight you have to exercise 5 days for 60 minutes. You might need to increase it because I saw you do 3 days right now. I think the whole thing is we have to keep pushing harder and harder to keep losing. However, I don't think we should gain if we stay the same, just…

Options I see for you- *Maybe have a drink that is lighter (light beer or something else) and only fat free, healthy snacks on the weekends. *Do an extra workout the day after your drinking and snacking also- an extra hard, kick *kitten* workout like a jillian michaels or an insanity to work it all off *Stop drinking beer…

I have not tried t yet but have seen amazing results in the success story section for Insanity. If you are not really hungry I would not up my calories (unless you were eating too little). If you start a new workout and it makes you feel really hungry then for sure eat the extra, but if you don't need it I would not think…

I would just keep eating healthy and exercising. Then you know you are healthy and you feel good. You also feel thinner when you work out and eat well When you feel thin, you believe i yourself. When you believe in yourself you get results. Giving up will never be a solution. How much do you cheat on the weekends? Can you…

Sent! Just don't judge my snacking too harshly! lol

natural. whole foods, no processed or fast foods.

THAT is AMAZING!

are they heavier than you? calories burned increases by how heavy you are. i would never burn 650 in 45 minutes doing zumba i don;t think, no matter how much i worked and sweated. i would guess you burned between 250 and 350, just a guess. did you set your weight in the watch and everything?

So I wonder if it s accurate when I wear it for when I clean the house or mow the lawn then...well the lawn is probably right it really is a cardio workout for me, but cleaning I don't really break much sweat.

That is the move that kills me. It is also tough to do the squats where you lift over your head. At first it is okay, but the second time around my arms feel like they will fall off lol.

I do not see how eating back exercise calories can possibly make you gain weight (if you already have a deficit). Myself as an example. I need about 1700 to maintain the weight I am. So MFP gave me a 1200 calorie diet so it would create a 500 calorie deficit to lose 1 lb per week. So then I work out and burn like another…

You look A LOT different! 118 pounds is a HUGE accomplishment. It takes a lot of people years to lose that much so you should be so proud of yourself. Great job!! You are looking great!

LOL that is what I am always thinking. If you put overweight people on an island with no food they would not go into "starvation mode" and the when you pick them up a few weeks later still be fat. They'd lose a lot of weight. I am not suggesting anyone do this. It is just a thought that occurred to me when I first was told…
-
I'm actually pretty sick of reading about starvation mode. Sure, it was interesting at first but I think everyone has heard over and over again both sides of the debate. Could it be that we are all individuals with different needs? How about this- if you are feeling very hungry, lightheaded, or weak you need to eat more.…

Hahahaha that sounds fun...but also might give me nightmares lol

How do you find the time to workout so much?! Especially since you work and go to school too? And clean? I have two kids, stay home and don't work, workout about an hor a day, and I STILL feel like there is not enough time in the day. I want your efficiency and time management. I like working out too now that i started and…
