Also, my advice would be to forget the deadline. 2 months isn't enough time. It's been 2 years and my stomach still isn't completely flat and I wear an xs in tops! Some people get flat stomachs easily though, so maybe you're different than I am!
-
I have this too, I think it's somewhat common. It was a lot more noticeable at my highest weight, but now I only notice it when I'm sitting down! I think I'll always have it unless I lose all of the fat on my stomach, and I still have a little bit at 120 pounds.

lower body fat and workout regularly get A's in all my classes this year/raise my gpa get an internship improve my credit score (already working on this!) save money

how long did you eat at 1500 before you noticed a gain? a small fluctuation is normal, I'd give it a month or so and then see where you're at, your weight will probably stabilize. you might go up a pound or two, I notice that I usually weigh less when I'm sticking to a lower calorie goal than on days/weeks where I'm not, I…
-
That's not really the same thing. It doesn't matter what you believe in that case, that's usually decided by law.

I never get the flu and I never get a flu shot. I live in Florida so it's not really like we have a winter here anyways. If I don't get the flu, how am I risking other people, how can I give them something if I don't get it myself? I don't like shots, so I don't get them when I don't need them. I don't really get why this…

Body builders are pretty extreme and obviously not what most people will prefer aesthetically, but I'm sure that's not why they do what they do. As for me, I'm not really that into really muscular or built guys, it's just not what I prefer. Obviously this varies from person to person, and people should look however they…

I have never had any problems like that, whatsoever. When I read things like this it always makes me wonder what's going on with the guy that all these women are supposedly SOO into him and just can't leave him alone?! Seems weird to me...

your boyfriend is the loser. not that it's cool what that girl was doing, but he's an adult and completely responsible for his actions. He's the one that cheated on you not her. And honestly, a 5 month relationship with that many issues...why even bother with that?
-
exactly, it's normal to fluctuate on a day to day basis. in my original post, I told her it's a better idea to see how she's doing a month from now, both with the scale and with measurements.
-
I think it's much more likely from her new workout, water retention after starting a new workout plan (especially weight training) is extremely common. I'm just not sure why everyone jumps to "you're eating too much/more than you think" after only 2 days and a gain. If she really is barely eating 1200 calories, that's the…

sorry to be commenting so much lol, but I also thought I should point out that wanting to lose 100 lbs isn't necessarily the same thing as being 100 pounds overweight (by bmi standards). It could be, but her goal could also be in the lower end of the healthy range, in which case she probably isn't 100 pounds past the bmi…

well how much does everyone think an extra 2-300 calories really weighs?? lol not enough to show up on a scale would be my guess.
-
wrong. nobody gains weight at 1100-1200 calories. unless they have actually really damaged their metabolism...which I don't think any of us on here know enough to say with any confidence whether she has or not.
-
this. ignore the people who say you aren't losing because you're eating more than you think. even if that was the case, at 1200 you should have plenty of room for error before you'd be even close to eating enough to gain weight. Also, day to day fluctuations are extremely normal and your weight can be influenced by a lot…

haha that's true... By that definition I could say I wear 00, and I do have one pair that fit just fine at that size, but most are unflattering!
-
its supposed to be but it's not, you'd likely wear a 0-4 (if I had to guess), not 6.

5'6" 120 pounds, size 0 (usually buy from American Eagle).
-
that sounds pretty good! I don't really like the taste of fat free cream cheese, can you taste it when it's done or is it kind of covered up by the other ingredients?
-
people definitely seem to have different frame sizes, for whatever reason (bones, muscle, structure, etc.). If that wasn't the case everyone would look good at the same weights, but some people look better weighing less and others weighing more. I don't think she said she had "big bones".

there is no ideal, just find where you're happy.

I'll be eating dinner twice (two houses to go to), and I plan on having turkey, ham, devilled eggs, green bean casserole, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes and gravy, yams, rolls, dessert and whatever else that I might have forgotten! I dont' care about calories, moderation, or portion control on Thanksgiving. But…

it all depends on how much you have to lose, 2 pounds is very safe/possible for some, but not for all. My maintenance amount is only about 1800 with the lightly active setting, so I'd need to net 800 calories a day to lose 2 pounds a week and obviously that's not healthy. My goal is set to 1450 right now and I don't really…

you can literally eat whatever you want and lose weight, just pay attention to portion size and the amount of calorie you're eating in a day. Obviously you get to eat a lot more of some foods than others for the same calorie amount, but there's no reason to quit eating white rice if that's what you prefer.
-
I would cut back on the cardio a little, that seems a bit excessive! and also, if you are happy with your weight, that's all that matters!
-
I'm going to eat as much as I can, let my food digest for a few hours, and repeat. Thanksgiving food is my favorite, I can work off the damage later! This will be my 3rd Thanksgiving on MFP and this is exactly what I did for the first 2!

OP, this post is just embarrassing and if you still have the option to edit it, I would consider just deleting your original comment.

please let this be a joke...

My motivation comes and goes on a daily basis, even after 2 years of this! I don't rely on motivation...I don't know what to call it but there's something else that keeps me going. Maybe dedication is a better word for it. I'm not always motivated to eat well or to exercise, I'll skip a few days, eat not only over my…

thanks for sharing! you've lost what I have, except I started 2 years ago (Nov 2011), I really couldn't imagine losing that much in such a short amount of time but I definitely get how that could motivate you to ignore the negative symptoms and keep going. Happy to hear that you have learned from your experience though!…
