  • And I just realize this is a reply to @timpicks post 🙈. But that’s OK because I really enjoyed reading his posts and I hope he sees mine. It’s nice to see somebody making good progress.
  • Hi there, glad to have found the group. I’m in Canada and started Ozempic on October 2. We did .25 for four weeks and then .5 for another four weeks and I just started at 1 mg in the last week. Up until this week. I haven’t lost any weight at all and was getting quite discouraged. I was having a few side effects but none…
  • @cordingley67 I've been doing TRH for about a month now & loving it! I just love Richie & Rachel! Its been great so far. I'm going to send you a friend request. I'm in Canada so my foods are a bit different but love looking at others food diary for meal ideas.
  • Hey there, just curious if you're still doing Team RH? I know this is an older post but I've started about a month ago & would love more TRH friends

  • @Jackie9003 i get that. I’ve reached out to the coaches a couple of times on the app and they’ve been very responsive and very helpful but there isn’t the individual coaching that I was sort of led to believe there would be. So I get what you’re saying there. But overall I’m pretty happy with it yes they do expect you to…

  • How long ago did you join? The numbers are scary at first but so many people in his group get great results. I'm just going to trust it. I'm in canada so didn't have the month to month option, so I signed up for the full year. I figure I've tried everything else, may as well give it a go

  • Hello, sorry didn't mean to shout into the abyss as stated above, life got in the way & I got busy. I just recently signed up myself after following their facebook page for about a year. As one of the other stated the main coach is very matter of fact, no punches pulled kind of guy. Super blunt & doesn't take any excuses.…

  • I just finished my 3rd week of Noom (completed the 2 week free trial and signed up for $19 a month with no commitment). I love the program. So far I'm down 16.6 lbs and am learning a lot about myself and my relationship with food. I would recommend it to others in a heartbeat.

  • I've always had issues with constipation but with keto its horrible! I'd go 7-10 days without going. I've taken magnesium, drank tons of water, ate lots of greens, all the tricks & tips everyone offered with no results. Someone in one of my facebook groups mentioned a product called Dual action cleanse, I get it on amazon,…
  • Thank you all for your responses. In the past I'd get so hung up on getting into ketosis I'd be eating way too much fat and wouldn't lose weight. This time around I'm working more on meeting my protein goal and staying under my carbs and letting the fats fall where they may. Seems to be working ok so far. I won't worry…
  • I've tried a few "low carb" or sugar free treats over the years & they all effected my blood sugars & threw me right out of ketosis. I recently found ones called Built Bars that don't effect either and are so good! they are soft & sort of like a marshmellowy nougat type bar, similar to a Mars bar.
  • I have been eating the new Activia Pure every now and then. It hasn't effected me. Its only 7g of carbs per 100g cup so I can make room for it in my day if the rest of the day is going well.
  • @Sunny_Bunny_ I'll never quit low carb or keto specifically. Even if I never lose another pound I feel better, I know its the best diet for me. I hope your niece figures that out before she gets too old to have kids like I did. If I had known then what I know now I'd probably have the family of my own that I always wanted.
  • I'm not sure I could do a fast that long! I might try a full 24 hour one & see how it goes. Tomorrows my birthday & our thanksgiving dinner so it will be tricky. lol. My doctor is very unsupportive of this way of eating. I've stopped trying to talk to her about it.
  • @Sunny_Bunny_ I feel like I am most likely fat adapted to be honest. I'm rarely hungry, no crazy craving etc, my energy is great, I'm sleeping like a rock but I'm not losing weight and have the lower ketones. I'm reading more & more that higher ketones doesn't equal fat loss which what I thought initially so the ketones…
  • @Sunny_Bunny_ I have actually been taking in a lot more salt recently after reading an article regarding constipation due to low sodium on keto. I make a drink out of Himalayan sea salt, lemon juice & stevia in water and drink it a couple times a day and I feel so much better!! I definitely wasn't eating enough salt prior…
  • @KnitOrMiss Thank you! Its frustrating isn't it? I'm so happy for people when it works for them! but gee it would be great to get things to work for me too! I helped a friend start on it about 4 months ago and she has a LOT of weight to lose and she is doing amazing! the weight is melting off of her and she's honestly…
  • @NikkiJRM THanks I'll have a look @gfunk1134 If I was losing weight still and didn't have another 50lbs to lose (at least) I wouldn't be concerned. I have a precision Xtra ketone tester & strips but I also have a ketonix, definitely not in ketosis and I am consistently under 20 carbs. lately even lower than that. I guess I…
  • @Goal179 Thank you so much for all the info and feedback. I track everything! so what you saw is what I ate, thank you for looking at my diary, its nice to get fresh eyes on it. I've cut out HWC and have been using coconut milk because it was making me bloated, I cut out peanut butter (my favourite) and limit my almond…
  • I've watched these. But honestly should it really take months to get into ketosis? Everywhere I've looked I see 3-7 days. I'm going for bloodwork today, maybe something is off
  • I've been keto for 3 years now (with a couple of slip ups) and its been great for me, not just for weightloss but for my health in general. Check out sites like RUled.me, dietdoctor.com ketodietapp.com Lots of great info there. Ruled me has a keto calculator, figure out your macros, stay under 20 carbs, meet your protein…
  • I make yogurt out of canned coconut milk. super easy!
  • Personally I don't do extra carbs, or carb ups. I know personally it will set me up for failure. I feel better physically & mentally on low carbs. the lower the better for me.
  • @kpk54 you can adjust your macros it's quite easy to do under your profile you just tap on the number and then change it. I change my curves it had me at 25 when I dropped it down to 20 which is my usual. They have great customer service if you have any questions he just emailed her support and they get back to you within…
  • @carmen3220 I have been doing keto for the last 3 years off and on, most recently back on for the last 2 months. It is seriously the best diet, especially if you have hormonal issues of any kind. I get that a lot of people think you can eat less & move more that there is more to it. I have pcos & this diet has completely…
  • @Sunny_bunny_ My protein in grams is 75. Thanks for the advise I'll give anything a try at this point.
  • Should I raise the protein even though I'm not working out? Due to a knee injury I'm pretty sedentary.
  • Love this thread! I started painting in October when I turned 50. Love it so much.
  • @River_Goddess I have my diary set to public, can you not see it? I've cut back my sweeteners a lot but I do like my dairy. I'm starting to cut that back now, used coconut milk (can stuff) in my coffee today instead of my usual heavy cream. Cheese will be hard. lol I'm eating approx. 1300-1500 calories a day some days.…
