My weight was up and down in high school (I worked at McDonalds and got free food) but stayed steady around 165, I'm 5'11, through college and afterwards. But I smoked a pack a day. I promised my hubby that I would quit and cut down to one cigarette at the end of the night. I also changed jobs and became much more…

I am 5'11, currently weigh 190 and wear a 14 or 16 depending on manufacturer. I also carry most of my weight in my stomach/chest area. My goal weight is 150 but once I get below 160 I am going to concentrate on toning more than the scale so we'll see where I end up!

My hubby tells me he'll eat whatever food I want to make to lose weight - as long as there is stuff to make his nachos in the house. He thinks I'm happier if I exercise and encourages me to do it. In 10 years of marriage he has NEVER said anything negative about my body and is now teasing me that if he doesn't start…

It's hard when your efforts aren't noticed, especially when you feel more attractive. I agree that people who see you everyday are the least likely to notice - don't let that bother you. More and more people will start mentioning it and your work mates will catch on. If you have a particular friend who hasn't said anything…
