I am 5'11 and my goal weight is 150. Honestly though once I hit 160 toning is going to be the big focus along with some strength training.

I'm halfway to goal loss of 68 lbs, I'll be happy to cheer you on!

Photos are my motivator - old pictures of how I used to look, both good and bad. I use those to get off my butt and make sure I log EVERYTHING that goes in my mouth. I've lost almost half my goal weight and plan on getting rid of the rest this year. I also workout at home using low impact cardio dvd's because I've got a…

Forgot to add that you might check into Government programs along the lines of what you do - that way you have the possibility of better pay, advancement and still doing what you love. Happy Holidays!

Check into getting your student loans deferred or even wiped out because of your financial situation - a friend of mine did that because of financial hardship. Try to find a better paying part-time job waitressing or bartending, that way you can keep the job you like. Good luck!!!

Years ago I was talking about the whole weight vs pretty face with my (now ex) sister-in-law who told me not to worry and that my "personality" was great and that's what attracted people to me. Which was her way of saying that I was fat and I wasn't pretty either!

My primary care physician diagnosed my PCOS, tested for it and has written all the scripts for my BCP and Metformin. Sorry you are having so many issues, if it's just a matter of the meds maybe that can be transferred to your PCP since you have been officially diagnosed.

Hi, just wanted to say thank you for the site as it has been a lifesaver for me! Being able to log my food easily and have a support network of people who are all working towards the same goal is amazing and its FREE! As a busy mom I do not get on the forums much except to check out the Success Stories and NSV's because…

They both look like you might be uncomfortable moving around for a day in the water. A tankini would give you more support - that is so important because breast tissue is very delicate and easily damaged so you need to protect the girls! I have a larger chest as well and know how hard it is to find suits that fit, are…

Hi, My name is Ruth and I'm the friend Casssondraragan mentioned in her post to you. I was just diagnosed this past week at age 34 and only because my symptoms (besides irregular periods, weight gain and past fertility issues) had become so extreme I talked to my new GP about it. I honestly thought it was stress for the…

What an incredible change! Your "before" picture looks like the mother/aunt of your "after" picture. Thanks for sharing your story, it is very inspiring and also a wake up to those people that think changes like you have made happen quickly. It takes hard work and determination for a success story like yours and you should…
