Absolutely I do! That should totally say 1.17, not 117, but what's a decimal point between friends?

Sounds like a brilliant idea for a picnic, thanks

I've just finished the 50 Shades trilogy, enjoyable, if of little substance. I've also read The Wise Man's Fear as mentioned by a previous poster, and really enjoyed it, although that's the second one in a series. I'm just about to start New Cthulhu: The Recent Weird, which is a collection of short stories inspired by HP…

Seriously, no one HAS to do anything. You don't HAVE to eat back your exercise cals, you don't HAVE to eat primal, paleo, clean, low carb, low fat or any other way, you don't HAVE to eat breakfast, or six times a day or do IF. You don't HAVE to lift heavy, or do hours on end of cardio. I think I've covered the general…

Mine reappeared fairly quickly, as I carry most of my weight around my middle. I'm currently in the process of rediscovering my ribcage, and hope one day to have hipbones!

Hi, I'm not sure our goals are particularly similar, but I do exercise at least 5 times a week, running and swimming, and have just completed C25K, so if you think that I can help, feel free to add me. I am active on here, log in daily and complete my diary 9 times out of 10, even when I am over.

One day over really won't hurt you, and you can't give up all of the fun times or you will never make it stick. Also, if you starve yourself today, you may well end up eating more later because you are so hungry. I would recommend eating normally during the day, have wine with dinner, but make sure there is water on the…

I've lost a fashion model, looking to lose an average man (literally as well as figuratively!) and a human brain (seemingly the man doesn't come with his own??)

I'm massively over mine every day although I don't add sugar to anything, I don't let it worry me, don't even track it, it doesn't seem to be doing me much harm.
-
I prefer to do mine in the morning during the week, as I am too tired when I get home from work. I swim twice a week and jog twice, and eat breakfast a couple of hours later when I get to work. At the weekends it tends to be whenever I can with whatever I have planned.

Personally, I've found I get drunker quicker now that I am smaller, but I am still a lot overweight, and haven't built up any muscle, so maybe when I get to goal and am fitter I'll regain my drinking prowess  I can't even be bothered to comment on the other stuff! :noway:

Tetsuo the Iron Man - really no idea what that was all about George Romero's Martin - My all time favourite vampire film Mr Vampire - you have to see it to believe it There are some great other choices already listed, so I just thought I'd add a few more.

I think you people have the wrong friends, there is all sorts of 'bad' stuff in my diary, plus far too much alcohol, but I never get any negative comments.

To comfortably wear a UK size 12 Run a 5K (booked for July) Run a 10K Learn to be happy with myself

I think I'm gonna get a lover! :blushing:

If you want to, just do it! I started C25K about 2 months ago, at around 230lbs. I kinda feel sorry for the people that have to see me run, but they can always look away. The first time I thought I was gonna die before the 30 seconds was up. Friday I ran 25 mins straight! It's a brilliant program, You can do whatever you…

They aren't! Eat the skin tho, fibre is good

I think that unfortunately, the bigger you are, the longer it takes. When I started out it took me a good while to drop sizes, but as I go on, the sizes drop quicker. Don't be discouraged, you are on the right track, and will get there! :flowerforyou:

bump to run when I'm at home :)

I've just finished week 6, 22 minute jog today (I'm not going to say run, cos really, it's nothing like running!) and I can honestly say that when I started the program I didn't think I'd make it through the first 30 seconds, never mind get to 22 mins. I also can't praise or recommend it enough. I never ever thought I…

You look absolutely amazing, well done :flowerforyou:

Full fat milk is good, plenty of calories, but still good for you and not overly filling if you are struggling to eat.

I don't think it's a big deal, different cultures eat completely different things at breakfast. Even in Europe it tends to be cold meats cheeses and breads, or fruits, as opposed to the cereals we have here, and in the UK there's a huge range of different options, from cereal, to eggs, sausages, bacon, whatever. I think…

Perhaps you'd just be better off speaking to her about the benefits of fresh food rather than tinned. She could prepare a fresh fruit salad to have for breakfast, and steam some beans to have for lunch if that's what she chooses to eat. You can make up batches of food in advance, so it needn't be any less convenient. You…

Hi, I'm also in the UK, feel free to add me. I am currently on week 6 of the C25K program, which has been great at getting me into running, although to be fair it's more of a shambling jog than a run! I'm planning on running a 5k in July, hopefully with a bit better form than I have now :)
-
I would like to be added if there is still room, I have lost a fair bit, but still in the 220's and need a bit of motivation to push on further, thanks.

I do, because I don't like surprises. I expect the fluctuations, and don't let it worry me overly, but I think I would be a lot more upset if I'd been good all week, was expecting a big loss, and then saw no loss or a gain. Weighing every day means I know roughly what to expect.

Don't worry about it. Different scales have different readings, if you are basing your progress from your initial reading on your own scales, then you have definitely lost weight. Also, I'm guessing you were clothed at the nurses, whereas I am usually undressed at home, so you have to take that into account as well. Keep…
