2lb a week sounds great to me

Absolutely yes, walking is pretty much all that I do at the moment. But if you are looking for some slightly more intense cardio why not try a dvd that you can do at home barefoot.

bump, will try at the weekend :)

Hi, I'm 39 & 5'7" and am down from around 330lbs to 208. I haven't followed any particular plan, other than to cut back on portions and alcohol, eat more fresh & home cooked food and started exercising. I've tried lots of different things regarding exercise, I started with an exercise bike, I have completed C25K, I've been…

I've been told to my face 'You're so pretty, it's such a shame!' I took it to mean that it's a shame I'm fat, rather than a shame the beauty was wasted on me :noway: although I'm not so sure that was the case. The funny thing about it is that it's not even particularly true, if I wasn't fat no one would be proclaiming my…

We bought one for the in laws a few years ago as well, and they are really happy with it, def saves space.

Isn't this just a variation of the Eat Stop Eat or Feast and Fast thing, just with a meal plan? What really puzzled my about the link posted above is that on a day when you are trying to eat under 900 cals, why would you use a third of them on ice cream. Surely if you really need ice cream, you could have some on the other…

Haha, you took the words straight out of my mouth! Today I'm going to stay on track because I AM the better person!

looks ok to me, it's all the kind of stuff that I would eat, but in all honesty you have work out what's right for you. Someone else might tell you too much of this, not enough of that, but if you try to meet their criteria by eating in a way that you don't enjoy, you'll more than likely find it difficult to sustain. You…

I just keep a bottle of salad dressing in the fridge at work. I don't like mayo anyway, so I just tend to get whatever dressing, but I never put it on until just before I eat the salad. Morrisons has a good range, I like the fine herb one, and the piri piri one if I fancy something a bit spicy.

I don't make a point of discussing it, but if people who are genuinely interested ask, then I will tell them what I weigh now, and how much I've lost. On MFP tho, I've always had my ticker showing my actual weight, I guess I'm less shy/embarrassed around people that can't actually see me. Congratulations to everyone, so…

Hi, I'm in London, been on this site since last May and found it really helps. Love getting new food ideas from people so if anyone wants to add me, feel free. :flowerforyou:

UK size 12 for me, currently in an 18, down from 28. I'm not overly worried about the scale number either as long as the clothes fit, but I'm guessing it will be around 140 - 150lbs.
-
Yep, this is totally me as well!

I've just finished day 7, and I know just how you feel, I thought I would never walk normally again after the first few days, and sitting on the toilet nearly killed me, but I'm fine now, so I promise you it does get better

Fantastic work, well done, you look absolutely lovely, you should be very proud :flowerforyou:

Mine are 1.5kg & I find that hard enough, couldn't do any more!
-
You look fantastic, well done, and good for you for doing something about it now while you are still young! :flowerforyou:

Fantastic, congratulations to her, and how lovely to have a friend like you, you're both amazing :flowerforyou:

I started at at least 330, down to around 208 now, it's taken a while (started Jan 2011) but it's been totally worth it, and I am sure this site will take me all the way to my goal. Just stick with it. :flowerforyou:

Hi Julie, this site is definitely a real help, and I have found it much better than weight watchers, not to mention cheaper! Feel free to add me if you like :flowerforyou:

Look at you, beautiful lady. You've done so well, it won't be long until you hit your ultimate goal. Glad to have you as my MFP :flowerforyou:

Fantastic, well done on sticking with it, that's definitely the main thing, it's good to be reminded that patience has it's own rewards, and here's to your continuing success! :drinker: :flowerforyou:
-
You absolutely look fantastic, well done, I have no doubt you will carry on to your ultimate goal, you definitely have the right attitude! :flowerforyou:
-
Just fantastic, you look amazing, well done! :)

Umm, I'm really not sure where you got your calculations, but that would come to way more than 27 cals, I would make it around 175, which is still fairly low though.
-
Aww, look at you, you look fab, so glad to have you as my MFP friend! :flowerforyou:

I really can't see that. Challenge yourself to work harder, run faster/longer, lift more, move more? All fine. Challenge yourself to keep reducing your calorie intake? Sounds like a recipe for disaster. Most people fall off of the wagon because they try to follow an unrealistic eating plan and can't stick to it. If you are…
