Thank you to everyone who has posted on here, I've just finished week one, and I did find it hard, am still a good 90lb or so over my goal weight, but I really do feel encouraged by these posts, and will be starting week 2 tomorrow

Is is name Homer Simpson? Lol, there was an episode just like that on the other day

Mine is my stepdaughter and I having just finished last years race for life 5k, which we walked. We will be doing it again this July, and I fully plan to jog it, and will post a comparison picture once done

I think the others have answered your question, but I also wanted to say that it's a lovely thing that you are doing, good for you! :flowerforyou:

Cottage cheese is good, and cheap.

I use coconut oil on my finger nails (contemplating trying it on my hair too) and in the bath, and olive oil to clear my ears!

Such a lot of lovely replies on here  I have just started C25K, and honestly, it's hard! I feel sorry for anyone that has to see me run, I'm sure it's not pretty, but I'm not going to let that put me off. I am about to register for a 5k in July, and I want to be able to jog at least half of it. Most message boards…

None of my rings fit any more, I've moved them all to bigger fingers, but now I can't move them any more, I'm just going to have to stop wearing them!

Wine and cheese, my favourite things in life! I refuse to give up either, but I am learning to cut back, although it definitely isn't easy! :drinker:

If drinks are filling you up, then drink whatever makes you happy, sugar free squash, green & herbal teas etc are all low in calories, but even if you drink tea and coffee, just remember to account for any milk or sugar that you add. With regards to the ready meals, yes they probably do have more salt than fresh food, but…

Summon your dragons in your pants.....................

I read that, and thought you were saying you had a rubber maid's outfit that you want to wear! :blushing:
-
My reply was to you and the OP, but it's good to know you don't need to get all defensive!

So, it's ok if he has friends he's miserable with, but he can't have a laugh? People have friends or they don't, and honestly, people are true, or they aren't. Being all jealous (jelly is a pudding in my world) makes f* all difference at the end of the day.

or, she'll leave you when your pointlessly unreasonable behaviour gets beyond bearing. Just a thought.........

It occurs to me though, that I would probably get a lot fewer requests if I didn't have a ticker. Whether that's down to the pic, or just because I'm an *kitten* is another matter!
-
The only ones that bother me are the 'super skinnys' either where they are or where they want to be. My pic is me, people can see I'm a fat *****, so if they choose to friend me, then I guess that's a positive.

Red wine or Jack Daniels would be my preference. :drinker:
-
But I love this too!

Deliverance!
-
Just as well there's no need to put ice in red wine then! :drinker:
-
I save mine up for the weekend, and swap them for alcohol!
-
Some lovely goals there, thanks for sharing. I think mine is to run a marathon, or a half marathon, or something, but I haven't really admitted it to myself yet, lol!
-
It's me (and my step-daughter) taken June last year after completing the race for life.
-
Mine is open to friends if you want to add me, but I would suggest you only view it for suggestions during the week, my weekends are frequently shocking! :ohwell:
-
I drink every weekend, and when I do drink, it's normally at least a bottle of wine. I know that that probably isn't good for me, but it's what I do, and I have lost weight consistently over the last year. So, from a weight loss point of view, it's totally possible to still drink alcohol, as long as you account for the…

You forgot to add that you *must* add a tablespoon of coconut oil to every meal, because it keeps you much fuller than actual food. :noway:
-
I'm fairly sure that when all I want is a glass on wine, a plate of broccoli isn't going to have the same effect!
-
I solve that problem by not eating my exercise calories, although you will be told a hundred times over that that's not the right way to go. If I were to though, I would definitely deduct some from the figure that I was given.

UK size 12 and around 140lbs. I started at a 28, currently down to 20, hoping to get there around the end of this year. Good Luck to everyone :flowerforyou:
