So sorry that happened to you! People can be so mean. It's their stuff not yours...with your stats you're not fat at all. Stay healthy and talk about it with your therapist. Congrats on your recovery. Just stay focused on that, it's the most important thing.

Congrats on getting into recovery. You feel better and that's the most important thing. I'm trying to recover from an eating disorder and struggle with a distorted body image and feel like crap sometimes. Keep doing what you're doing and best wishes to you.

Don't give up! I know it's discouraging sometimes. One slip-up won't ruin everything. Take baby steps, try eating well for just one day and celebrate it as a victory. Try cutting back on pop a little at a time. If you starve yourself it will slow your metabolism but if you eat right it will get back to normal eventually.…

I have congestive heart failure and cardiac arrhythmia. It doesn't hinder me too much though.

I think alcohol affects different people in different ways. Drinking makes me gain a load of weight so I quit altogether.

I'm a vegan, feel fee to add me. I eat avocado and nut butters to get calories. If you eat soy it's easy to get enough protein. If not, beans and grains will give you what you need.

Eating under 600 calories a day will definitely slow your metabolism. It's counterproductive to eat that little.

Congrats on the weight loss! As long as you're on a downward trend I wouldn't worry about it. Your weight will fluctuate with your water balance. That is why some people weigh in only once a week at the same time. I can't resist getting on the scale every day.

It hasn't made me happy but I don't hate my body so much and that feels pretty good.

Alcohol puts weight on me fast and then it's so hard to lose. Also, drinking gives me the munchies. I gave up alcohol and feel so much better.

When someone is anorexic and starts eating again the metabolism sometimes goes into overdrive. I was anorexic as a teenager and needed about 3000 calories a day to gain weight. But 6000 calories seems extreme.

It makes me feel good and look good.

I can't get drunk except on hard liquor, if your intention is to get drunk you might have to switch to that. I can't drink any more, it got me into trouble plus the empty calories really put weight on me.

I was anorexic in high school then I went to college and got into compulsive eating, gained a lot of weight which was good for me..But I felt horrible. My second year of college I got into bulimia. It was awful. Now I'm 47 years old and still struggling with anorexia and bulimia and alcohol addiction. I've quit drinking…

I'm a vegan. Saw the documentary Forks over Knives and it was very illuminating regarding plant-based diets.

Drinking water feels better for me than drinking lots of diet soda. It can't hurt to drink it ice cold, I don't care about the math, just do what works for me.

Everyone else is probably focused on their own workout. Go for it.

I was never a fan of Dr. Oz. He's a quack.

I always gain weight after drinking alcohol, and my face gets puffy. I'm on the water wagon now. Don't need the empty calories.

cattokitten I think it's awful they wouldn't treat you. Shame on them! I hope you can find another program that will accept you.

I've been at it for so long (31 years) don't think I can give up anorexia and bulimia at the same time. First things first.

I'm anorexic and bulimic. I'm 47 years old and have had an eating disorder since age 16. I'm trying to kick bulimia to the curb. Feel free to add me if you don't mind an old lady.
