I think it's clear she wants more info about them, or she wouldn't have created this post. So, instead of trying to make a sales pitch for whatever shake you're selling, how about at least giving the name of this product?

#1 Stop and think about if this problem is as serious as you are making it sound. If you honestly *cannot* go more than 20 minutes without thinking about food, then I would recommend seeing a therapist for strategies on how to deal with it because it could be a real problem. #2 If you determine that it's not that serious…

You are inspiring. I love reading your blog entries. Keep it up! I need to get on the stick or you're going to surpass me soon!

If you truly cannot stop, and truly have no willpower, then you may have a food addiction and should look into overeater's anonymous. It's a real problem. Otherwise, you should think about whether you "truly" cannot stop, or whether you just don't want to. A cleanse is not going to solve this problem.

Your gym should provide you with one free orientation session with a trainer, where they will walk you through the basic machines. Ask about it.

Roasted Broccoli is also one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten in my entire life. I don't really like it any other way.

Here's an idea: I love hummus, but I don't love all the calories that are involved with dipping in pita chips. So, I was browsing the store one day looking for other ideas to dip in my hummus, and I found sugar snap peas. I figured, "Why not?". It worked great for dipping...accomplished the crunch that I was looking for,…

Great job! At least you used to split yours in two. I live by myself so sometimes I'd eat the whole thing!

It may be time to switch up your exercise routine. Walk faster, or at an incline. Try jogging for some of that. Have you sat and analyzing your food diary to see if you could be making better choices?

That's the problem...cheap juicers usually don't last. How much are you looking to spend? The one they used in the movie is $149, and if you use a 20% off coupon from Bed, Bath & Beyond, it's even better. The $149 is cheaper than Amazon, as well. My roommate got a Jack Lalane juicer from Best Buy for $99, and it works…

Great! And if they look at you funny or judge you for asking for the info, contact the manager and pitch a fit. Then ***** slap the cafe employee.

Just call them and ask them how many scoops of protein powder they put in. Or, ask them for the nutritional info on their shakes. They probably have it.

I'm struggling with it too. I just record it as the whole fruit, even though I know it's more calories than what I drink, because I"m not eating all of the fruit. It's really the best you can do. The only other option is to find juice recipes online that give the nutritional info already.

One of my friends is a trainer, and he said the same thing. That's what I ended up doing, but only because I was too lazy to start the strength training. Now that I'm about half-way there, I've recently started lifting weights.

I'm a left-handed Mac enthusiast.

With the summers off, I have much more time and more motivation to exercise more. It's perfect!

If I could type in 128 pt font, I would. NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO. You're training for real life here. You can't lug your scale with you everywhere you go. Enjoy your vacation instead.

If I leave the house with iPad, I slip it inside a neoprene sleeve with the smart cover on. If its just lying around the house, the back doesn't need to be protected.

I love the Apple Smart Cover. Puts it to sleep when it's closed, automatically wakes it up, and converts into a stand. There is a video on Apple's website that shows it in action. It's wonderful.

I get what you are saying. However, it was different muscle groups that were being worked each day. So the upper body did get a chance to rest while the lower body was being worked. So, I don't really understand why that's overdoing it. If i were working the same groups every day, i would understand it completely. And its…

I've been doing the strength training stuff for only about two weeks now. Before that I was doing cardio every day or nearly every day. I don't really get a lot of food cravings anymore, and if you look at my diary, you can see i don't really deprive myself of anything either. Fortunately, I don't go in with the mentality…

Nice! You look great!

Close..I'm in "north central" jersey...right by New Brunswick.

I haven't done any strength training yet at all, which was why I was looking into this program. I basically have zero strength. I've no doubt it's a good program. I'm more concerned as to whether or not I can accomplish the same thing with weights at the gym and my normal cardio, and if I can still continue to do my…

I think about how proud I am of myself, that I'm a beast, and that I'm unstoppable. That keeps me going every single time. Considering that 5 months ago, I barely left the couch and now: -I can run 5 miles without taking a break -I ran 10 miles (with 3 short walking breaks) last weekend -I'm doing a half-marathon in…

Glad I could be of help. I'm a strong believer in "tough love" and don't sugar coat anything. I think it comes from being a teacher. I hear so many excuses all day long, and I'm not afraid to call BS on them with my kids. Not to say that I don't find myself giving excuses from time to time; I do. And when I do, I expect my…
