Howdy!

You can add me if you like - I am an emotional 'non-eater' which equally doesn't help. Totally agree that people on the same path with struggles etc are a benefit.

Weighing every day is part of my routine - I drink water everyday, stay off gluten everyday, go out for a walk everyday and weigh everyday. But everyone is different :)

I know this won't be the answer you want to hear but maybe you should concentrate on measuring instead of weighing? Kick the scales to the side for a while and drag out the measuring tape - see if the inches are dropping off. I am certainly impressed that I can fit into some of my old clothes even though the scales say…

I am here!

I would go with: A) Eggs like someone else has already suggested B) Stiryfry - Asda do packs of veggies ready to chuck in the pan - lovely! C) Chilli - I actually do it in the slow cooker, chuck all the ingredients in before I leave the house in the morning and it's ready for when I come home. I use turkey mince which is…

Yes... daughter age 11 years, son almost 9 years and baby girl almost 9 months

I would never have thought I had celiac disease - I went to the doctor about something else and he did routine blood tests which is when it flashed up. I was bloated but having had a baby 9 months ago I put it down to that.

3-4 times a week - the joys of a new relationship :)
-
I was found out through bloods - it was discovered that I don't absorb iron or vitamin D which is a big clue, Another blood test showed the antibodies to suggest a gluten problem followed by an endoscopy to cut away a tiny piece of your intestine to check for damage which would be caused by gluten if you had Celiac Disease

I am now 30 days gluten free (yey go me!) due to recent diagnoses of Celiac Disease (noooo, not go me) and I can honestly say that it has made my bloating go, other people have noticed however hasn't really effected my weight. I still eat rice and potatoes and suitable cereals so have not gone low carb with it. I do feel…

Daily weigher here too.... for that reason. Keeps me sane - I don't only diet once a week so why only weigh once a week :)
-
Hi there - I went gluten free 22 days ago due to medical reasons and feel so much better. I have lost 5lb (not a huge amount but its not been long) but more importantly I have lost the bloated feeling and look. I am far less slugish and people have already noticed. It is hard though. I have been out to eat with me kids a…

Because my diary is far from perfect and I don't need judging by it. I don't eat 264 grains of brown rice for dinner or 17 different unpronounceable fruit and veg a day.... it's for ME to see and make changes, not others to criticise and make me feel like a failure

Maybe half way between as a mini goal?
-
Decaf Coffee - wow I know how to live lol
-
I welcome new friends on here - we are all on the same path and it's a lot less lonely with people to take the journey with!
-
I wouldn't even realise they were photos of the same person! Well done!!

Me and one of my kids on a day out, the three of them are my absolute world and my son in the picture is always saying 'you don't need to loose weight mummy, I love you the way you are' :)

I have 3 lovely children, daughter coming up for 11, son aged 8 and my baby girl, 8 weeks. Love them all but wouldn't want any more - feel lucky to have them esp since before my last one I was told I prob wouldn't be able to carry a baby to full term again due to health reasons

Perhaps it's best to try one way and if that doesn't work for you, try another? We all function differently and I don't believe there is a right or wrong way - this site is merely a guide, I am a keen zig-zag calorie counter, 1200 for a few days, then drop in a couple of 1600 to confuse the body - it worked great last time…

I don't, but I think I am in the minority...

Hello - we are in similar situations - I also used this site to prepare for my wedding last year and it worked wonders... sadly neither the weight loss nor the husband lasted so here I am again! I am 29, had my 3rd baby 6 weeks ago and ready to give this my all!!
