Looking good! Congratulations!

Yes, I am doing strength training, 2x a week using P90x as my guide.

This is a very interesting post. I will definitely try this one... Many thanks!

I try to exercise really in the morning but sometimes I can't keep it up as I stay late at night. Instead of waking up and exercising 1hr in the morning I use it for extra snooze to rest so I end up exercising in the afternoon.

Good point. Thanks!

Great idea. Thanks! I just don't believe my log today here that it was more than 800 calories. Now, I found my pedometer (couldn't find it this morning).

Good post. Thanks and I will definitely rely on the measuring tape for this journey not just the weighing scale.

That was my initial reaction, panicked! It's hard to lose weight so if I see my weight going up then I get frustrated. But now I know there are other factors to consider as well not just the weighing scale. Thanks for the encouraging words!

Thanks! I will continue the weight lifting. I now have to stop looking at the weighing scale everyday because at first that's my only indication if I am losing weight but there are other factors to consider as well.

I am actually thinking to stop weight lifting if it will cause me to gain weight because it's really a struggle just to lose even 1 lb. For me to see that I gained 3.5 in a short period of time I felt bad. Thank you again and I will continue…

Do I have to just wait it out or how do I prevent retaining water from my body? For how long should I expect this to occur?

Thanks for your response. I do weight lifting and follow the P90x Shoulder and Arms DVD for an hour. I use the 5lb and 10lb dumbells when I follow the program. Do you think I should do it every day because right now I only do them 2-3x a week? In the morning I do the Insanity Workout program by Shaun T and at night do the…

I started Insanity Workout 3 weeks ago when I hit a plateau after months of exercising in the gym. I've been going to the gym religiously and eating healthy but not shedding any pounds when I hit the 178lb mark from 194 lbs. Now, I broke the plateau and is 174 lbs. I also do the P90x arms and shoulders to tone up my…
