Hi. I've no wise words but understand EXACTLY how you're feeling.

1. Cottage cheese. 2. Lettuce. 3. Vine-ripened tomatoes. 4. Cucumber. 5. Apples. 6. Sugar free jelly. 6. Pickled beetroot slices. 7. Diet cola. 8. Apples. 9. Marmite (Yeast extract) 10. Bread.

Thank you so much for all of the replies. It's not a trap. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by that. But if you mean I'm trolling (i moderate a different sort of forum) then, no, unfortunately everything I have written is true. The fact that some people think maybe that it's not true is actually making me think how…

I am 5'0" 38 years old and currently 90 pounds. I've lost too much weight (personal problems) and I am now trying to gain a few back. Never had to do that before. So my advice would be to take care. I was eating 1200 cals per day.

I think their response is a polite, tactful response. They want to know how it feels for YOU. The wrong response, IMO, would be to tell you that you look so much better. That would be rude, shallow and about themselves and how they feel; which is far less important.

Thanks for your understanding messages. I have made an appointment to see my doctor tomorrow to discuss my situation. Thanks again. X

I know exactly how you are feeling. I was like this on the 24th. I feel better today. It really is like poisoning yourself.

Thanks. I am looking forward to wearing my new jeans tomorrow; that's if they still fit after the junk I've eaten today. My gut just isn't used to this rich Christmas food these days!

Yes. It just isn't a particularly exciting or 'sexy' snack!

My Scooby snack is a snack sized portion of dried prunes. That's my treat each night as I read in bed! That seems rather pathetic now I've written that down!

I disagree with the advice to 'scale way back on your calorie intake'. You are ill. Your body needs a rest. That doesn't mean you can eat what you like in large quantities while you're ill, obviously. But, while your body is fighting something off, give it the fuel, the nutrients, the energy it needs. Wholesome foods.…

I know exactly what you mean! Well I am just wearing tight fitting clothes anyway. Still trying to find a tight, small black jumper though.

I am 38 years old, 5'0" and 97 pounds. I generally eat some of my exercise calories. Unfortunately, when I exercise, my appetite seems to decrease!

I have been having soup at least twice a day for nearly every day since mid may. I have gone from size 12 to size 8 and lost inches from my waist (now 25") I just bung 4 carrots, 3 large onions, 1 parsnip, 4 celery sticks, 2 cans of chopped tomatoes, a whole cauliflower and an equal amount of broccoli into a large pan with…

Thanks for all the advice so far. Concave...yes that describes mine in places and it just looks huge and odd compared with the rest of me. I just look so out of proportion. :(

Ooh, a shortie group!! Just posting to wish you all well. I'm 5'0" although I may have shrunk with age as I'm nearly 39! I've been on MFP since mid May and gone from 120 to 105 lbs which just leaves me to tone up now I think. Totally happy with my top half but the top of my thighs nerd work! Go for it ladies! X
