That is awesome! Congrats. So just to clarify, are you eating a certain number under your daily burn? Like 300 under for the day? Or are you just eating BMR plus exercise cals? I am just eating the same number every day (cut value) and I know a lot of days I am probably over what I should based on activity. Perhaps I…

This is really interesting to me. Keep updating with your progress!

@HeidiHo, how much lower than your fitbit are you eating? Give me some numbers, like whats your daily burn, what is your bmr and where your calories fall. Just curious :) Oh, also, are you eating this from a weekly average or just by the daily burn? I have a bodybugg (no subscription right now) and I was thinking about…

I love your story! Anks for the inspiration, you look fabulous!

I am not sure if I follow your explanation, but if you are saying you have already been eating at TDEE for a couple of days, but you were supposed to start on Sun, then I would just continue eating at TDEE and count those days towards your week. I don't think it matters if it coincides with your rest week from exercise.…

Those are some awesome NSVs! I wouldn't care what the scale was saying if all that was happening! WTG

@seobstar, that is awesome! Glad to hear you found a sweet spot. I bet you may see more after TOM too. I have had one whole good week eating at cut and coming pretty close to my macros, still a little low on the protein side, but doing what I feel comfortable with. My goal now is to make it through this weekend without…

I am almost a week ahead of all of you, but I feel your pain, I was there last week and I had a terrible, terrible week. Just go with it and do what you can. Oh, and stay off the stupid scale. I am like most of you in that I second guess myself all. the. time. I know in my heart I am doing the right thing, but I still have…

I had a span of time like this recently and I had a hard time getting back in the groove too. I finally made myself get on the scale and that was all the kick in the pants I needed. I set goals for myself for the next day to just log all day and get my workout in. I felt so good after the first day, I made the same goal…

That is a great idea! I get the same way during PMS. I had learned at one time that you actually burn about 300 more calories a day during PMS which has a part in making you more hungry, so if that is true, upping during that time will probably be helpful and still keep you at a cut. If it's not true, then worse case…

Boy, I hope I didn't bring everybody down today! Sounds like we are a struggling group. Also sounds like TOM/hormones are at play for several of us, that doesn't help. @Raynn, what article did I just read today that said it could take up to 6 months to see results? Can't remember what link it was, but I was shocked by that…

Hey girls, thought I should pop in and say hi. I notice a few of you are doing great this week and that is nice to see. I have been struggling, I don't really know what's wrong with me, I just cannot seem to find the internal drive I usually have. I am just so tired of it all. I keep telling myself I need to find something…

Woohoo! I am most impressed with your upper back, you had some fat peeking out in the first pic and it is all gone! Well done!
-
That is an awesome report kels!!! Can't wait to hear about your measurements.
-
I see more definition all over as well, looking good!
-
Crystal and Raynn, awesome reports ladies!!! Lucia, thanks for the update and info on how you change your workouts to fit where you are at with your fueling. I learn so much from you and everyone else. And heck yeah, it is better to weigh more and measure less than the other way around. More food, mmmmmm. My goal for this…

For those of you measuring, all I have are my measurements from before my reset. Should I retake them now? I know they are up a little and don't want to get discouraged. When are you guys measuring in this process? Also, what are you finding easiest to log calories now with a cut. Do you just have your base burn without…

Love this: "Kiki's story has made me rethink the whole game and at the end it is better to weigh more but to look like you weigh less." Amazing how my whole attitude has changed through this process, I think that has been the best part. It is like an 8 week program for weight loss addicts, lol. Oops, sorry for the long…

I was just reading back through some posts and I had to quote this from TripleJ3. Love it, and so true, the more you weigh, the more you get to eat. It's the inches lost that count the most.

I am so sorry to hear all that you are going through. Sending you hugs and hoping there is some good that comes out of this, whatever that may be. That model probably starved herself for months to look that way and was airbrushed to look perfectly tan and smooth, just sayin. Hang in there and rant all you want/need too!!!

Three days under my belt and the cut is getting easier every day. Part of it is that TOM is out the door and the other part is that I am increasing my cardio, that always helps with my appetite. I am still eating around 2000 calories and am satisfied. I just have to tweak what I am eating now. Always tweaking things. It…

I certainly didn't pick a good week to finally get my butt moving with my cut levels. TOM started this week, of course!!! I did stick to my calorie goals yesterday though, so one day under my belt. Protein levels sucked, but right now I am just focusing on lowering my calories and then when I get used to that again, I will…

Hi everyone! I have been in limbo land lately. I was supposed to start my cut 2 weeks ago, but was finding it pretty difficult at first and then decided maybe I just wasn't ready to cut. So here I am at about 10/11 weeks of reset level calories or more and am still debating on cutting. Why do I find summer so much harder…

Just finished 8 weeks of reset and I will start my cut on Monday. I will also start to add in a little more cardio which I had reduced during my cut to give my body a break from the beating I had given it for the last year and a half. Because I will be working out a little more than I did during my cut, I will probably eat…

Just finished week 8 of my reset! Woohoo! I was supposed to start my cut today, but with what is going on this weekend, I think I will wait and start either Sunday or Monday, but no later. I have a feeling it would be easy to just keep putting it off if I let myself. Hope everyone is doing well!

Fructose really should be consumed in moderation, I don't think that sounds healthy at all. I wonder what your macros would look like on an all fruit/veggie juice diet? Sugar would be through the roof! Little to no fiber. Barely any protein. Way too much of most vitamins. Probably no vitamin d or calcium. That is just off…

Just popping in to say "hi" and marking where I have read up to. Hope everyone is doing well, nothing new to add for me, one week to go. I am starting to look at what I am eating, trying to figure out where I will be able to cut out 300ish calories next week. I don't want to get rid of anything  Got in a great leg…
-
Okay, I do remember you posting that now. You were supposed to be hitting 1900 and didn't hit it even once, right. Well, welcome to reset!!! I enjoy reading your posts on the main board and I think that is why I thought you were in this thread already. Forgive me, my memory is good, it's just short

I hate it when my body doesn't keep up with my mind! Hope the muscle is just overused and bounces right back. I'm with you, if I feel a twinge of something not right, I back off. For me it is usually my elbows that tell me I need to back off. Although I have never had elbow tendonitis, I feel like I may be prone to it and…

Okay Rosie, I am out of the loop here. I take it you were doing a cut before and now have started a reset? I feel like you have been with me all along, lol.
