I'm back from vacation and ready to kick butt! I had to take a couple of days off due to being stuck in the car driving, sorry everyone! I am totally amazed at how awesome everyone is doing and how many calories burned. Great job everyone!!!! You rock.

They have great names and a ton of them! I like H20 Nutz Makin Waves Aquaholic But I only read through the A's.

Hi everyone, I'm Kathi and great to meet everyone. I'm psyched about this! Here are a couple of ideas for team names: (all if fun, of course) Kiss my stern Rock n Row

I would like to join a team, please.

Thanks everyone! You're right, I shouldn't worry about speed. When I completed the 20 minute run in disbelief, I thought, hmm maybe I am not going fast enough. I was still in shock. Yes, the goal to finish the 9 weeks!!! You all are doing awesome and I appreciate your feedback and hearing about your progress. Keep up the…

HIGH FIVE TO EVERYONE!!!! Great job......... Woo Hoo, I did W5D3 this morning and like most of you, I can't believe I did it and ran the entire time. I never would have thought I could do it and I'm so psyched that I did finish it. I also was very worried about it. Now, I am worried (just a little) that I am not running…

W5D2 completed this morning. I was not looking forward to it and almost hit the snooze button again, but instead dragged my butt out of bed and got on the treadmill. The last 2 minutes of running was rough, but I did it. I let out a huge gasp at the end and thanked god I made it to the cool down. :-) I am not sure how I…

Great job!!! That is awesome and great attitude. Good luck Sunday, we will be waiting to hear how you do.

W5D1 completed. I did not know each day increases the amount of time you run. Yikes for D3. Really not sure about the 20 minutes of running. Good luck everyone.

It is nice to get on here and read everyone's progress. It really is motivating and makes me want to stick with the program and do well. Everyone is doing such a great job!! It really doesn't matter which week you are on. What matters is that we are doing it!! Keep it up!

OTR12 Here is an article I can across and thought it might help. I'm not sure why your doctor is telling you not to go over 170, but I would listen to him/her. It isn't always about how fast we run but making it to the finish. Don't be in too much of a hurry. Keep up the good work.…

I have just read about Kettleball workouts and I'm very intrigued. Thank you all for your suggestions on the workouts you like best. I think I am going to have to get one of them and try it out. I just check out gym and they don't have kettleballs or group classes that offer this workout. Hopefully soon they will.

W4D2 completed. It was little rough, but I was determined to stick to it. I did it very early this morning, and I think there is something said about fueling your workouts! I better fuel it next time. :-) Good job everyone! You're welcome OTR12! I know what you mean though, I never thought I would run, period. HA.

NZhoagiebear - it is hard not to get discouraged but hang in there and drink A LOT of water. You may be retaining it, and if it is the TOM then stay away from the scale, it's always worse for me. :-) You're doing great!

AWESOME JOB OTR12!!!! That really is great progress!!

W4D1 completed yesterday and I have to say it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Good job everyone. I really did complete weeks 2 and 3, even though the posted doesn't reflect it. My emails don't seem to be making it through. That's okay, I have my progress noted. Keep up the good work everyone. It's exciting seeing…

I've only ran on the treadmill. I'm just starting week 4 and this is my first experience with doing any kind of running. I think I may try it outside since the weather is getting better. I like the treadmill, because I know what my speed is. However, speed isn't important to me right now. I'm not training for an actual 5k.…

I agree with Jeanette. I have also been watching my sugar and when it is coming from. Fruit is okay. I've tried yogurt (plain) and add fresh fruit to it. Also watch cereal if you eat it. Some of the brands that seem very good for you may have alot of sugar. I try to stick to one with 10g or less per serving, and still have…

W3D3 completed. Phew! I'm not sure about week 4, but will stick with it and give it a shot! Great job everyone!!! Keep it up and if you have to repeat a day, or week then do it. I may do that at some point. Keep up the good work.

I agree with Bethrs, maybe you had a goal and it would make it better or running just isn't your thing. I am not a runner and have never enjoyed it either. But I started doing the couch 2 5k program (http://www.c25k.com/) and I am enjoying it now (most of the time). It is easier having the times intervals and I crank up my…

Congrats!! Way to go and keep up the great work. It is inspiring, I also just increased my calories and I am zig zagging them. Hopefully, I will see results soon.

Definitely make your diary public. I just did this and it does make a difference. BEST ADVICE!!

Welcome to MFP. I have only been on here for a couple of weeks, and the motivation from everyone is awesome. I have also tried to go back through my food log weekly to see if there are areas I need to correct. We aren't perfect, so try not to be so hard on yourself. If you mess up, pick back up and start over again. This…

I am also in a plateau going on 3 weeks now and getting very frustrated. I thought counting calories and excercsing would be enough, but now I have to figure out all this other stuff (zig zagging, boosting my work outs, reduce fat, reduce carbs, etc.). Why does it have to be so hard? I do't even know what to eat anymore.…

I would like to start this too! However, I would like to do it on T, TH, Sat. because I'm doing the couch 2 5k on M, W, F. I hope that is okay. I have tried the 30 day shred before and didn't make it through all of it. Hopefully, this time I can. I need to break out of this plateau I am in.

GREAT JOB!!!!
