Valid point...though I think for a lot of people it depends on build, body type and how much extra weight they are carrying. I was 28% body fat at 180 which basically means that if I had absolutely NO fat whatsoever I would still but 130. I had gotten down to the mid 140's in high school just dieting and without exercise…

For me it's actually more than likely just genetic. Even as a kid I tended to weigh more than my peers, but you couldn't look at me and tell because I have a high muscle mass. I am currently 174 and 5'3" and my BF% is a healthy 26% and that's after sitting on my butt all summer! I've only JUST started working out last week…

I have a large muscular frame I am 164 and in a 10/12 (my 10s are snug but heyyyy they button and zip!) My goal weight is 127 (maximum) because that's the last time I remember being REALLY pleased with my body. I am 20 And I don't have any kids.

That's pretty much exactly why my diary is private. I'm working on my messy relationship with food however some days I have massive binges and other days I don't eat at all and I don't need everyone seeing and commenting on it as if I don't realize it's a problem. Just makes things better for me.

I have one of those EPIC scales that measures everything in your body (fat, water, muscle, bone) and it weighs you. Then it tells you how many calories you need to eat to maintain. then it gives you a GW and tell you how many cals you need to get there....you also have to enter your age, gender, height, and activity…

Because I calculate my calories on my own (I swear the packages lie. I've counted a THIRTY calorie difference in some foods) and I enter them through Quick Add and entering each and every category would take time that I don't have..... That said sugar isn't my kryptonite. Fat is. So I take mental notes of fats in my diet.…

No you don't want it to be negative. You just want it lower than calories in. You DO need a certain amount of calories to function. Like if you eat 1500 you might want your net to be 1200.

Theya re allowed to be positive. Negative net would mean that you burned that much more than you ate. Say you ate 1200 and burned 1500. Your net is -300. But if you ate 1200 and burned 300 your net is 900.

I'm a New Yorker, and maybe it's because my parents are southern, but I use pet names all the time! I call my friends "sweetie" and "hon" and "darlin" all the time. i don't see what the big deal is. No one ever complained about it before...

I think it's all a matter of personal preference. You have to do what works for you, not someone else. I personally don't eat them back.

I like to keep my net cals very low sometimes in the negatives....just to make sure I'm losing...but I'll eat well too. For example today I ate 1449 cals, but I burned 1548. So I DID eat well, and my cals were negative while I got an EXCELLENT cardio workout.

I don't weigh in simply because I KNOW the gain would drive me crazy (former food issues, gaining still freaks me out). It really depends on your state of mind. How do you view weight gain? If it doesn't bother you, then I would weigh in, but if it would be upsetting, then I would just wait until I get off it to check.

Not to offend, but there is no way being 140 and 5'4 looks sick OR too thin. Depending on your bone structure 140 is a good weight for your height. Yeah I'm 19 so I suppose i need to bring it down...but I burn SOOOOO many calories keeping it high like that.
