So good. I've been meal prepping all morning as I'm back in tonight. It's too bloody cold to venture outside so this is a great day to do that :D

It really does mess with your metabolism for sure. I work 3 x12 nights and of course you have to add in the "hung over" day after. Love the staff on nights and for most part the way it fits in with my family but as I sit here typing after a lovely 10 day break - ready to go in again tonight - I am actually dreading it.…

Working out (for me at least) HAS to become a habit, like pouring my first cup of coffee in the morning - once you've done it often enough you know how it feels to go without. Not good. Food on the other hand is harder. Used it as a crutch for so long it becomes a go to. Hopefully the working out will curb some of…

Hi there, I'm also a night nurse. I have to work 3x12's in a row or it totally screws up my sleep. Would love to connect with other night shifters. PS I created a support forum for us a while back called "Shift work healthy life style" Feel free to add me and check out the group. It's a place to vent at 3am when you are…

Those are some good ideas Rita, just the thought of taking my clothes off and jumping in a pool when there's 3 feet of snow outside makes me shudder though ;)

Yeah, I do - and I don't get too mad if I go up a pound - I know it's going to fluctuate as long as it goes down the next :)

No cheat days for me. Not until I drop some significant weight. I've tried that route and it just doesn't work for me.

I find it really tough to workout on the nights I am working. That's what I need to try and figure out. I also need to plan my meals a little better on my work nights. I do bring in my own food but would like to be a bit more organized. Sounds like you have a good schedule there. How are your off days?

I'm a night RN too - it's hard to stay on track but it is doable. Seen a couple of friends really succeed and I'm determined to also be one of those success stories in 2014!!! Feel free to add me for support!

I loaded that app too. What do you think?

Hey there, I added you. I made my food diary so it's military clock style that way I can log down food when I am at work, Got cancelled last night but had been sleeping all day so you know how that goes - tossing and turning. Finally just went to the gym at 6am - great work out!

I feel the same way, why wait until January to reclaim your body/health. Go for it now!

I've been reading everything I can on this over the weekend and really feel that this is a great concept. I love Chris and his family too - seem pretty genuine people. This is day one for me. Good luck everyone.

Count me in!!!!

Oh gosh, you could be writing my story!!! I'm in the same boat - night nurse, in school, eating all over the place, heavier than when I was pregnant and basically miserable and wanting to make a change. From what I have been reading elsewhere it's important to pack low-carb snacks and to keep to a schedule - but I normally…

So I got this invite but not sure what you guys are doing? Sugar detox? Can you explain what I have to do?

Really messes up your kidney functions too.

You look great - keep up the good work!
